Convenient basic hotel with very agreeable help.

“Excellent Value”

Portugalete is a lovely harbour town. The day we arrive there was a festival and we enjoyed every minute of it. The Hotel was excellent value, will stay there if I ever go back to Partugalete. A train ride will take you ito Bilbao, which is another lovely city. On the hole we had a great time

“Very Impressed, with position and character”

excellent hotel, near to the ferry port. rooms were large and comfortable. Had a good bar with an outside terrace and a reasonably priced restaurant.Easy access to bilbao,s beaches, walking,or by using the ferry or portugalete bridge.Bars and shops are close by.Hotel modern clean, comfortable. The only negative no car parking. Had to use the hotel underground car park at 15 euros per night.Would use the same hotel if in Bilbao.

“Will be back circa October”

First time in room on street side of hotel rather noisy, room located over restaurant very loud noise of moving chairs. Requested room with internet connection and was told only WIFI available which I knew was incorrect, two days later when I recepion staff that I knew from prevous trips were on duty they connected my room, Unfortuneatly 2 days later it was disconnected again and I was told again that ony WIFI was availalable in reception, when I told the reception staff that I was connected into my room socket previously I was informed that it could not be as only WIFI was available??

“A good base for exploring the area”

A comfortable, good hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Only let down by the dreaded 'Nouvelle cuisine' and pretty steep garaging charges.
