I think the breakfast buffet price was exaggerated.

Nice hotel, good price

Posted Aug 8, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel main areas were nice and well kept. Our rooms was quite pretty, with a very big bathroom (with tub), but I think this room needed a bit of care (the painting in the bathroom was coming off in some places and the hair dryer did not work. The bedlinen was different for the twin beds. In general I am pleased with the hotel, as the main aim of the trip was to enjoy Bilbao rather than staying in our room. Location is great!

Good centrally located hotel and helpful staff, but now a little dated. Breakfast times also a bit of a rush

Clean, but worn!

Posted May 26, 2012
The front desk staff is extremely helpful! The rooms are clean, but very worn. Our room had ripped carpet, cracked walls in the bathroom and toilet tissue stuffed in the "peep hole" on the door. If you are looking for a five star hotel, this is not your place.

Excellent location, good size individual room. The only thing was the hotel doesn't have free Wi Fi service.

Shame about the lobby

Posted Oct 26, 2011
Location: Any central area in the "Ensanche". This will give easy access on foot to the Guggenheim, the Museo de Bellas Artes, the many bars and the shopping areas. Walking around this area is easy and safe.
It's a shame there was constant music - sometimes very loud in the subterranean lobby which was accessed through crowds of refugee smokers. There was no public space in which to wait, the bar was gross and much of the time either had a DJ playing loud music or (even in the morning as the cleaners were clattering round) rows of men gawping at large screen sport. It also seemed to be a mosquito magnet.

Public areas tired and dirty. Rooms reasonable value for money. Location good - 15 mins from Guggenheim and Casco Viejo.

Not too Bad

Posted Aug 7, 2011
Hotel is located in a good spot, not too far from the main attractions. Air Conditioning wasn't working in my room, but it wasn't a big deal and they did offer to get it fixed.

Great location

Really ideal location between Guggenheim and old town, near many shops, places to get food, coffee, bars. Generally friendly hotel staff, pleasant rooms. An older hotel that's been nicely updated. No free internet in the lobby and no place really to sit in the lobby, in contrast to some other hotels.
