clean, fresh, close to all tourist attractions

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: clean, spacious rooms. modern feel, central location
Cons: coffee in room, something to do in the hotel, very expensive breakfast (not very good value for money)
Location: old town, corte ingles, main shopping avenue, and all classic attractions are a walking distance
3 days with family in this modern touch hotel were all we needed. Rooms were clean, spacious. Staff was accommodating but relatively distant, which might be a trait of local people. It felt more like a business hotel rather than holiday. I would have wanted coffee in our room, but there was some available in the main lobby. Bilbao is a nice little town, with the best museum I have come across, so from that perspective worth the trip. But it is a nightmare for restaurants, especially if you are vegetarian. there are very few options, and with family you need to plan for the fact that restaurants open only from 8h30pm onwards... there was not much to do in the hotel, so plan ahead to make sure you have busy day. All in all a pleasant experience but a bit more life in the hotel would be much appreciated.

Nice clean hotel.

Room was quiet. Nicely furnished. Breakfast not quite average sort of oldish , Cereals were Kellogs in boxes. Bacon 60% fat and undercooked. Pastries industrial looking. Good location.

Central location, modern, no frills.

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: It has has a decent, modernist refurbishment. The staff were friendly.
Cons: Customer Service. Because right now, there isn't any.
Location: It's Bilbao!
In a central location, grand facade and modern interior, the hotel promised much, but failed to deliver. Specifically, it failed to deliver: a room cleaning service; tea, coffee, or milk in the "cafe"; room service; tea/coffee/milk and kettle in the room; dressing gown; slippers. And the list goes on. According to the receptionist, who was always bight and cheery, these things could be had at a price. A robe? 15 euros a day extra. Kettle? 20 euros a day extra. Hostel would be cheaper, and much more comfortable to stay in.
