Great hotel close to family

Posted Jun 30, 2015
The rooms were very nice and clean! The bed was so comfortable! The staff could improve on their friendliness and great people upon arrival. It didn't matter which staff member we encountered, none greeted us or even smiled. Other than the staff, we enjoyed our stay tremendously!

It's nice hotel for parking and spacious lobby .

It's was a nice stay, and has all basic needs onsite plus free WI-FI access. These make stay in that hotel is easy and time saving.

location/restaurant

Pros: see above
Cons: see above
I liked the hotel. The lobby was nice and the staff were very nice as well. I used the fitness center as well. The bistro restaurant was fine for breakfast but for dinner there was an emphasis on pizza and spicy food. Since I was there with my 93 year old dad, spicy food was not an option so we ended up eating dinner elsewhere. Elsewhere was several miles away, which was not a big deal but still involved a drive.

New England Visit

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: Clean, neat and spacious. Comfortable beds. Spacious lobby area. Very responsive and pleasant staff.
Cons: The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim. The water used in the pool almost seemed like the salt water used in some beach hotels.
Location: Decent eateries in close by Billerica.
Our daughter was scheduled to sing at the New England Conservatory so it was crucial that our stay was as uneventful as possible - no commotion, distractions or surprises. The Courtyard Billerica/Bedford met all of our needs. It was quiet and comfortable. We also enjoyed seeing the single wild turkey standing roadside at the entrance of the parking lot each time we passed - no kidding! Short distance to Concord, which is much more than just a Revolutionary War site. Literary buffs and high school students may be interested in seeing Walden Pond, the Emerson Museum, or the Alcott Orchard House where Little Women was written - all in and around Concord.

I complained to Marriott corporate. I stayed their last year but this year it was terrible service and no breakfast included ad last year and more expensive. I will never stay their again nor recommend it.

CONSTRUCTION OVERLOAD

Posted Apr 20, 2015
We have business near the hotel and will continue to travel from Florida frequently but will look for other accommodations. Majority of the hotel is under construction. No meeting rooms were available and they wanted us to sit next to the indoor pool (while swimmers splashed and the heavy smell of chlorine gave us headaches). The sound of heavy drilling above our rooms each day and afternoon was another inconvenient encounter. Room service? Because there is no restaurant to go to (unless you consider the limited outdoor patio furniture around the indoor pool a dining experience) your only choice for hotel dining is to order room service. I called four times and let the phone ring....and ring...and ring hoping someone would pick up or it would transfer to the front desk. On the third try it did transfer to the front desk where a polite young woman said she would have room service call me right away. I sat. I waited. Nothing. So I called room service again....no answer. It was 6:00 pm by the way. I called the front desk. No answer. A half hour later room service called. My main comment is that the hotel staff was pleasant enough...and I could have handled the construction (although you must trek thru the indoor pool area to get to the temporary check in area)...but the rate is just too much for what the guests are expected to endure. At least warn your guests and lower your rates while you are making the upgrades to the hotel

Okay

The room was extremely hot, slept with the av on even though it was like 25 degrees outside. But it was ok. I would stay again if I had to.

Absolutely love it here! My wife and I stayed here twice so far and look forward to staying here every time we travel! The beds are superb, my wife even took a picture of what the mattress label is so we can get it in our apartment. This hotel is a must stay and a must see for sure!!!
