Not worth the extra money

Posted Sep 25, 2014
This hotel is ok but its not worth the extra $20.00 plus dollars a night over the cheaper hotels in billings. Unless I was getting a deal I wouldn't stay here again.

Decent hotel

Posted Sep 12, 2014
Hotel is older so furniture is a little beat up. Staff were very nice and helpful, definitely thumbs up! It was very cold when I arrived, someone had put the air at 64 degrees and outside was 40 degrees! There is also a draft under the door between mine and the adjoining room.

Holiday Inn Grand in Billings....

Posted Aug 27, 2014
We fly in and out of the airport in Billings, MT once a year during the summer to visit family and friends in Miles City. Usually, our return flight out of Billings is in the morning, so we stay the night at the Holiday Inn Billings Grand. We choose this place because it has an 8ft indoor swimming pool and we always indulge ourselves to a MT steak in their restaurant. It is only a 15 to 20 minute drive to the airport. We've done this that past 4 years in a row now, and will continue when our flights out of Billings are morning flights. The price is A LOT cheaper that many, many other hotels/motels in the area, and how many places have pools over 5 or 6 feet deep? We have never been able to enjoy their breakfast in the mornings, but someday.

Just ok.

Posted Aug 24, 2014
It was just ok. Coming in I thought I was getting my money's worth but when I took a closer look I will stay at another hotel when I stay in Billings again. The lobby was nice but you don't get to stay in the main building unless you pay way more money. For 118 per night I thought I would be staying in a nice room.. The room was okay but nothing special. The bathroom floors and in the corners were dirty. I left my expensive toothbrush there and I have called 2 times and left a message for the lost and found department with no call back. I actually talked to someone about it. She said she would call me back to verify the toothbrush that was in the office was mine because the one I described sounded like a match... It has been 4 days.. I will attempt again on Monday. They also did not have a free continental breakfast.. In fact the price was outrageous. We went somewhere else for breakfast.

Unsatisfied

Posted Aug 12, 2014
When I seen the pictures online I thought I would be happy with my stay, however the room I stayed in was nothing like the rooms I seen online. The chair had stains, the bathroom sink leaked and sprayed all over

Won't stay again

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Too expensive for what they offer. Greeted at front entrance by overflowing garbage can. Room smelled horrible. Bathroom with broken moldy tiles. One tiny soap for hands and shower. Front desk staff were the antithesis of welcoming. Restaurant was fair.

Decent Stay

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Friendliness of the staff
Cons: Beds, Pillows, descriptions of rooms (partially expedia's fault, they're not specific when booking the room).
My first room was awful. The bed was very hard and the room was something you would expect from a Motel, not the price I paid. The pillows were lumpy or hard. The faucet in the bathtub leaked all night and drove me nuts. Everything about the room was sub-par (Motel quality). I had stayed there before and never remember having a room like that before. The guy who checked me in was at the front desk in the morning when I asked for a switch. He was very pleasant to work with and very kind. He gave me a new key but I wasn't going to be back till later and the room wasn't ready yet. When I went to the new room, my key didn't work. A staff member saw me struggling. I explained my situation and he had the key activated. The second room was much better, although still not what I remember of my last stay last year. The beds was much softer and the pillows softer (but still not enough). Overall, it was an okay experience. I would stay again.
