Never Again

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: It didn't leak.
Cons: The service, the attitude of the staff, the cleanliness, the AC system, the availability of advertised amenities.
I booked a 2-bed room online, one bed each for me and my son. I arrived to find we had one bed. The manager told me it was my fault for booking online - "that's what happens." They supplied rollaway bed which was so uncomfortable we went to Walmart and bought an inflatable mattress. The toilet clogged, and when I called the front desk the manager was quite clearly annoyed that we were bothering him again. The advertised fitness center consisted of a treadmill, a precor, and a weight machine that was "out of order". To get a new room the next night we had to move all our gear back to the car and leave for the day. The second night of our 3 night stay they moved us to a room with 2 beds. The AC unit was noisy, and there was a party (complete with tables, chairs, and a boombox) held by bikers on their way to Sturgis, right outside our window. The manager accused us of stealing the bedding from the rollaway bed on the first night and threatened to charge us for it. The third day the maids did not clean our room. I called the front desk around 3pm to ask that the room be serviced, but when we arrived back at 8pm we had no towels, etc. Had to call the front desk for them again. Finally on Day 3, when we actually planned to use the advertised indoor pool.... they had closed it. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I recommend avoiding it.

The location near the convention center was ideal, plus wonderful breakfast foods and free drinks available there all day long. Terrific bargain for the price.

Location: Great location and lots to do nearby.
We stayed at the Kelly Inn on our way back to the airport from a trip to Glacier National Park. We were very pleased with everything about our stay.

Pros: convenient location to highway
Location: Beartooth highway scenic drive about an hour southwest will take your breath away
It was the last night of a long traveling vacation with different hotels almost every night. It is always nice to come into a nice clean comfortable room when you are tired.

Last Kelly stay

Pros: Not a lot.
Cons: The room opened to the outside. There was a gap above this door. They was a couch with a ottoman and it had an obvious stain on it. The bathroom had

We drove down from Great Falls on a Saturday for a wedding in Billings. I went through Expedia. I booked a room with a hot tub. It was an additional cost. I am not sure how much it was. When we got there our room was not ready. To be honest I was out of sorts anyway. We had to be at the wedding at 2:30 for pictures. I thought our check in person was confrontational. She explained that our room would be ready at 3:00. I told her that we had to be at the wedding site and said that we could change in a bathroom-this was unacceptable. She then told us that we could have another room but would not get the hot tub I had paid extra for. Well they finally found a room and when we went to the room It was not made up yet. We phoned the desk and the room we originally had was now ready. We went down to our room and the hot tub, which was extra was an enclosed shower. This was bizarre. We never did use it. So that was our stay at the Kelly-Inn. I travel quite a bit and I will not look at Kelly Inns for future service.

Pros: Location was great. Easy access to freeway as well as local streets. Continental breakfast was good, but could have had more fruit.
Cons: Softer beds and regular pillows.
Location: Frontage Road in Billings, Montana.
Everything was good about this hotel except the hard bed and small, lumpy pillows.

Overnight shopping trip in Billings

Posted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Furnishings need updating, rooms painted and NO PETS allowed.
Location: Restaurants and shopping
Location was excellent; however, the furnishings in the room were dated - the lamp hanging from the ceiling was loose. It was very noisy from the rooms next door and in the hallway, plus we could hear a dog barking. The only reason I would stay here again if I was staying on the top floor.
