Will not stay again

This hotel wants you to pay to stay AND do their job. When they did clean my room they NEVER left toliet paper, towels, rags, shampoo, or soap. I always made sure to have our big trash picked up and thrown away before we went to sleep or atleast before leaving the room..well I for the second time had to go to the office to get supplies and she asked what room so I told her and she said " oh my that room was so trashy the girl had to come get me and we took pics of it..it took an hour to clean it..I will have to check that room everyday"..I was on fire by the time I finish telling her off. Not only did she tell me that but there were other people checking in. The rooms were nonsmoking but smelled like smoke. Rooms were not clean. Bathroom smelled. NEVER AGAIN

When In Gulfport, Avoid ABVI

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Had a shuttle to the casino!
Cons: Foundation, door stuck!
Location: Other hotels and Taco Bell across the street
It must me hard to live up to the name, "America's Best Value Inn." But they could have tried? A better name would be "ghetto come in!" My first clue should have been they still have "smoking" rooms. Asked for a center room, put us on the end. Outside had potholes in parking lot, and the pool? Had to slam through the door to enter. Old television with no ESPN! The door to the bathroom had to be slammed, foundation issues, probably made both front door and bathroom. Ice machine worked! Coffeemaker worked! There was no excuse as this place was situated between the Ramada and Econolodge. Breakfast was good, but would have been better if both waffle machines worked, long line. No fruit! Residents were a bit "unsavory!"

People were loitering around the pool with loud music, eating at the pool and washing their hands in the pool while my kids were swimming, management was of no help!!

Good choice for the area

Pros: Great staff and clean rooms
Cons: The beds need replacing
Location: Close to the beach and many restaurants
I was pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff allowed my husband and I to check in an hour early without any extra charges. The rooms were clean and well kept. The beds were a little worn and will need to be replaced soon. The free breakfast was ok, as most free breakfasts are. The hotel is located in an area within walking distance to a few restaurants.
