Enjoyed our stay. Staff friendly. Great location by beach. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel close to the beach

It is a very nice hotel , close to the beach good location close to mall, casinos and eatery. Will stay there again.

Hotel is very worn out and needing maintenance.

Pros: Location was perfect.
Cons: Hotel needs considerable maintenance for rooms, hallways, and common areas.
Location: Across from beach and very near downtown. Several good restaurants nearby.
Door handle had screws half out. Toilet only flushed if handle held down. Heating cooling thermostat was off / not calibrated, had to enter much lower temp to get A/C. Room was noisy. Mold in bath grout.

nice hotel great location

My husband and i were looking for a place to stay for a weekend getaway, to celebrate our anniversary but also bringing along our infant daughter. The Courtyard by Marriot turned out great! Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean to wake up to every morning. there was plenty of room in the king room for a pack n play and still had room to spare. the staff were super friendly and helpful. breakfast was good! and the pool was nice too. great place and we'd certainly go back!

Beware of Rate Change

We book our stay at one price and ended up paying over by $25 per night. They also run your card for the total amount and an additional $20 per night for incidentals upon check in. We also were told that breakfast was included for 2 each morning. Although it was a different case when we went to eat breakfast. The are no signs that indicate anything when it comes to dining in the hotel. We walked and made plates for breakfast on our first morning there. When we sat and ate we were then brought a bill for 21.50 for 2 buffets. Not the way to start your first day of vacation. Aside from the arguing over the rates with the front desk and the breakfast debacles. Hotel was great. Beach was great. May move to another though next time because of service.

Air conditioner comes on when you arrive in the room due to a sensor above the door. Therefore, our room was not cool for awhile. Even then the ac unit kept kicking on and off all through the night and work us up every time! Bed was comfortable. Pillows were good. Wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the bathroom. Plenty of towels, washcloths, etc. Clean. Great location. Very easy access. Probably won't stay there again, though, because of the air conditioner.
