Smoke yuck!Posted Oct 22, 2014
Stunk of cigarette smoke even though bldg and rooms were no smoking. Filthy carpet in rooms and hallways- a dump - skip it even if it's cheap.

Excellent valuePosted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Convenient to the highway and good value
Cons: Take the check-in staff to TJ Maxx and get them some new clothes. Maybe a shave for the guy.
Location: Near highway
Desk clerk was dressed like someone just brought in from the labor pool.

Good for the pricePosted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: The price was reasonable for the area.
Cons: Update the bedding. Comforter was shabby and had holes. Bathroom could use some updated caulking.
Location: Great location for Vestal, Johnson City and Binghamton.
Needs some updating, but overall clean, comfortable and quiet.

Decent hotel for the pricePosted Aug 27, 2014
This hotel definitely shows its age and displays some wear and tear throughout. In the room, the iron didn't work and neither did the phone. However, the rooms are big and comfortable, the housekeeping staff are excellent, and the hotel is pretty quiet. Breakfast is better than expected with bagels, toast, cereal, and muffins, and there is also a laundry room with a coin-operated washer and dryer. Wi-Fi is decent. There's also a convenience store and a McDonald's in walking distance. Overall, it's a good hotel for the price.

HorriblePosted Aug 14, 2014
Location: Location was great, just off 2 highways- everything else about hotel was miserable
The keys never worked and had to be reset several times a day. The room- where to start? The air conditioner when used had a horrible smell, refrigerator froze everything you put into it, and adjusting it didn't change how it worked, the caulk in the bathroom was poorly done and it was moldy and dirty. The pool area was an absolute disgrace, filthy, tables and chairs disgusting, bricks crumbling, trash strewn, used bandaids, beer bottles in the grass for days on end and door to pool area had no lock. The carpeting in the hotel was dirty and stunk. We had asked to be moved to a different room, but none was available. We left as soon as we could.

Convenient to highwayPosted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: Staff was very courteous and friendly.
Cons: Overall appearance
It felt like a very old hotel in need of maintenance. Had a very shabby feel and look to it.

Perfect for the spiedie fest and balloon rallyPosted Aug 5, 2014
We picked a hotel close to the festival, which paid off, b/c we were able to see 15 balloons launch on Sunday morning - for free (instead of paying the festival admission). Older decor, but fine for our needs.

Close to Manitou Springs and Garden of the GPosted Jul 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice and simple roadside motel. Convenient location to see nearby sites. Rooms are clean and have all basic necessities.

mediocre motelPosted Jul 27, 2014
what s the idea of putting balconies but no door access to it...just a window that can t open...and the pool needs work badly.....mildew smell in the room and continental breakfast could improve a bit......a bit expensive for what we got....with taxes $103.60...will not return for sure......
