It Is what it IsPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Free parking and Wi-Fi.
Cons: The breakfast was terrible and the section lacking compared to say a Country Inn and Suites. But if you like watery scrambled eggs than you will enjoy
Location: Location looked good. Close to shopping and food places. We arrived late so we took advantage of the Papa Johns next door.
We used this hotel for a one night stay as a break to our eventual final destination. We arrived late and left early. It is what it is....it is a La Quinta Inn in Binghamton. Nothing special. It does smell though because pets are allowed. We had Febreeze with us and used it in the room.

Tub overflowPosted Aug 31, 2014
Woke up in the morning to take a shower and the tub had black slim all around it. The bath mat hanging on the side was wet. It seemed the drain back flowed into the tub overnight. Was not there when we cked in. Do not stay here!

Never againPosted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: As I mentioned ,the cleanliness, weird smell and pet policy. The most being the horrible breakfast and small awkward dining area.
Location: Binghamton University, mall
I decided to stay here while I was in town to drop my son at BU. It was one of the cheaper ones in the area ,so I thought i would try it out. What a disappointment! The hotel had this weird smell to it ,like they were trying to cover something else up. The room was Ok but it was non-smoking and smelled of smoke. There also was a dog in an adjoining room that scared me when we entered our room and it began to bark. The shower also had quite a bit of mildew growing in the grout which could had been easily cleaned with some bleach. The breakfast was terrible ,all they had was sausages and waffle mix and some old cereal with milk that didn't taste fresh. Thank goodness for the duncan donuts next door. I should have stayed in the Hampton Inn across the street for a couple more bucks!

Dirty and moldyPosted Aug 28, 2014
Location: highway location. That's it.
This hotel smells like smoke. I thought that smoking was not allowed in the U.S. hotels anymore. It is just a place for a quick overnight... In and out, quickly. Please remove the mold off your bath tubs. It is disgusting. I didn't even took a shower in that disgusting tub.

Very nice and accommodating staff but stinky!Posted May 27, 2014
I requested a no smoking room but unfortunately the room still smelled due to the fact that the room was located on a smoking floor. Poor planning and not the best experience. However, I have nothing but positive things to say about the staff! Very accommodating and great people a around.

centrally located to where we needed to bePosted May 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Clean room, very comfortable beds, located near shopping, food, recreation. Was a little disappointed that the pool was not actually attached to the hotel (was at a nearby health center) but we were only there one night. Would definitely stay here if passing through this way again.

A tough trip was made pleasant.Posted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: Location, room size, comfort, staff, clean, and quiet even though it seemed completely booked.
Cons: Parking space, and powdered eggs, or they tasted like powdered eggs. Everything else at breakfast was good.
Location: The mall is across the street w/ shopping, movies, and food services. There is an eye doctor there. The gym w/pool is behind motel. NY OTB next to gym
We had come to town for a family funeral, never a easy visit. We picked La Quinta for the location not expecting much, and actually had not thought much about it. We found the staff to be very helpful and the rooms very comfortable and clean. The fridge and the m/w were placed in appealing cabinet. The desk and reclining chair were placed in the room so that both people could eat in the room without making a mess. The beds were great, very comfortable and great pillows. The maids were always helpful with extra coffee and would ask what you needed for your room so you had what you needed later in the day and did not have to make runs to housekeeping for little extras. We would make sure to book a room anytime we are visiting Binghamton in the future. Expedia made the booking for our trip a breeze and we will use them again as well.

A Good ValuePosted Apr 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
A very decent stay. Can't do better for the price, especially when you consider it has a pool and includes continental breakfast. Our room smelled a bit musty, but it was clean and comfortable. Great shopping within walking distance!
