“Lovely spot along the river”

My son and I spent only one night here on our way home from a conference. The hotel could definitely use some new carpeting in the hall-strong mildew smells in hall and room. however, we opened our curtains and sliding glass door and were pleasantly surprised to see we were right on the river--lovely, peaceful view. The room was a nice size and very comfortable. Breakfast was available in the hotel--the resturant also had lovely views. The food was good and very reasonably priced.

We had a great view of the river, and staff was very pleasant. Convenient as our event was held here. Room was adequate and clean, but a little cramped-but with a private terrace with river view and indoor pool you can't beat it. Its older, but updates make it fine! Loud a/c unit though-heard fans all night. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant-but only coffee in lobby

“Treadway in Owego”

The Treadway was a very good experience. The hotel staff and room were very nice. The restaurant was superior with amazingly low prices for excellent food with a view of the river.

I've been driving past the Owego Treadway Inn for 30 years, but this is the first time we needed a place to stay in the area. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside. It was clean and comfortable. We stayed only one night, but I would recommend it to anyone who needed a place to stay in the area.

The only thing the Treadway has going for it is its meeting rooms. The guest rooms are outdated. The hotel itself is outdated.

“if you want to party or hear someone else party til 3.30am then its for you”

went to front desk at 1.30 am to have the loud party next door to keep it down. they stopped at 3.30am after flushing the commode and banging furniture around. The ceiling in our room had a big water mark and crack in it. looks like its ready to fall down. between the bed head board and the picture on the wall is a hole. Needless to say we checked out the next morning. We also took pictures of the room NOT HAPPY AT ALL
