We were made to feel like family from check-in. The spotless updated room we stayed in was comfortable and luxurious. The front desk staff accommodated any requests or questions we had. Clean, neat, comfortable. What more could you ask?

This is the kind of place for which I have a soft spot -- unique older property that has survived into modern times but keeps a sense of nostalgia. Nicely updated with WiFi, modern conveniences in bathroom, A/C (and the desk clerk kindly set our thermostat to our desired temperature when I called in for late arrival), but the common area retained the old dental moulding, pocket doors, and other original appointments. Continental breakfast sells it short, as it offered a full breakfast buffet. It's nearly a full hour from Cornell (we were in the area for a reunion) but next time I expect to live with the long commute instead of inferior accommodations in Ithaca.

“A Hidden Gem!”

Based on my experience with this stay, there is not enough stars on your rating scale to adequately reflect positive experience we had using this venue for our clients. From our initial interaction with the front desk staff we knew we had picked the right place. The entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The personalized service left us feeling as if we were staying in a guestroom at their home not a 41 room resort. The continental breakfast exceeded our expectations clearly surpassing similar things advertised by other chain hotels, and the lunch served at the Tavern could have easily been mistaken for a 5 star dining experience at a large metropolitan restaurant. The room was spotless and spacious and the bathrooms were meticulously clean! The services provided to our team and the clients we brought to the resort definitely solidified our reputation for excellence. It is without hesitation we recommend this vend to any other small business looking to provide an exceptional experience to clients while maximizing their return on investment. (Did I mention the rates were less than that of some of the other chain hotels in the local area!)

Boutique style hotel with a NYC feel without any snutty attitude. Clean, modern and comfortable spaces with added desirable details (pedestal sinks, euro-style shower, superb bedding appointments...) Convenient parking in with easy access everywhere.

“Great for my family”

This was a great place to stay on our way to New York City. The grounds were beautiful, the staff extremely helpful, and the hotel very nice. My kids thought it was very fancy. The only thing was the description by Expedia in that it said it had a private beach and it does not. I am sure this will be fixed soon though;)

This hotel is right off Route 17---very convenient. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Computers with printers easily available. Fitness room was just fine. Spa and restaurant are both on the premises. Very satisfied with the place, as were the three other people in my party.

I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. Very clean, up to date, comfortable!!! Front desk was very pleasant. Great continental breakfast. Great value for the money.
