Beautiful hotel and fantastic region. Nice peaceful location between Bird in Hand and Intercourse. Can walk to the excellent Rumspringa Brewery if in need of a nice beer. Glad I didn't go for the Fulton Steamboat Inn as that was at a busy junction. Restaurant was very good. Watch out for those buggies!!

A wonderful night in Lancaster

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Cons: I would suggest getting in-room safes for valuables. I was a little surprised that we didn't have one.
Location: On the grounds of the hotel you have the Amish farmhouse tour, buggy rides, Plain and fancy Restaurant which has a nice menu and tasty food. The Amer
Having stayed at the Amish View on a previous occasion we wanted to stay again since we would be in Lancaster for a concert. We were not disappointed! We were upgraded free of charge to one of the new suites recently added to the hotel. It was beautiful! It came complete with a king size bed and Jacuzzi tub. Before we left in the morning we were treated to a tasty and plentiful breakfast buffet. The Amish View experience made for a pleasant weekend. We hope to stay there again on a future trip!

Family vacation

We arrived late and were greeted by a very courteous staff member. In the morning we woke up with sun shining over luscious fields of corn and our morning got even better when we went to have breakfast. Wonderful buffet with anything you can think of and a waffle and omelet station!! We only spent a few hours in the hotel but we would go back any time we decide to travel around that area.

Great place to stay in the Amish Country!

Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Very spacious and clean. Nice free breakfast. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plenty of parking. Country store and restaurant right there.
Cons: The carpeting in our room was a bit worn and had some spots and stains on it in a few places.
Location: Wow! Amish and Mennonite buggies and wagons go by constantly. The VIP in person tour was wonderful. Plenty of places to shop and eat.
We stayed here so we could visit the Amish Country. When I made the reservation I had no idea that this place was so large. We were pleasantly surprised at how very nice the hotel was and the exceptionally friendly staff. There was plenty of parking and the free breakfast was outstanding. We had a room in the older part of the hotel that looked out over the corn fields and got to see an electrical storm for several hours out the nice large windows. The bed was very comfortable and the space was well organized, except that the bathroom sink area was small and was separate from the shower and toilet. The location of this place was perfect for what we wanted to do and offered some wonderful opportunities to really get a good look at how the Amish live. We did a VIP tour, which took us to an Amish Dairy farm, Amish furniture business, and a visit with a very sweet family of 9. The Plain and Fancy country store and restaurant were very nice and the food was good. We plan to return here in the future to spend more leisure time in this area. We really liked visiting some of the individual businesses over going to Kitchen Kettle Village, which is just down the road.

Wi fi was so weak that it was worthless. They said it was due to storms and was being fixed.
