“"Breath Taking Views"”

Was very suprised how nice this hotel was. I did not expect for the price to have such a great view of the downtown area etc. I would stay here again without hesitation.

This hotel overall(price and location) is one the best. Service was great, and the view of Birmingham from here is stunning! I will be back!

“Would stay again”

Not impressive looking from the outside. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The staff is very friendly and eager to help with anything you need or want. The breakfast was basic but very good.

“Seems like an older hotel”

The entrance of the hotel is stunning! The patio overlooking downtown is also beautiful. My room was adequate for the price. The breakfast was not what I expected....I didn't even see any milk. The elevator and hallways showed wear and tear. I did use the laundry facilities. It was quiet but a little out of the way. Just one exit down there is a Wal-Mart and a mall and several restaurants. I believe it was once a very nice hotel but has experienced wear and tear over the years. Adequate for the price.

“Nice for the price”

I was somewhat skeptical about how nice this hotel was going to be considering the fact it was much lower in cost than other hotels in the area. Although is was off the beaten path a little, it was clean, the staff was very friendly and the view of the city was great. I would reccommend this hotel.

“Alta Vista Hotel”

This hotel is located on a mountain and at night it gives you a beautiful scene. It is not the cleanest place I have been in but the hospitality and breakfast buffet is better than many other places I have stayed at.

I was not familiar with the hotel but was generally satisfied with the experience. The physical appearance of the facility was somewhat dated, but it was clear that the staff took pride in presenting the accommodations to the best of their ability.

“Great evening views of the city”

The steep roadway up to the hotel is worth it for the beautiful sight of Birmingham's night lights. Service is cordial and rooms are comfortable.

two huge family reunions were going on the weekend i was there ---- made for slow elevators and a little noisey, but, southern style breakfast was very good---need to cook the grits a little longer !!!!
