This hotel is conveniently located. There are a lot of options for dining. The hotel was nice but a few things could be updated. The rooms are large with a separate sitting room and small kitchenette. Hotel staff seemed nice.

Bad smell in second floor. Delaminating floor in the room. Electrical outlets by the vanity didn’t work Quality of breakfast very poor Guest were struggling with the waffle maker and the stuff was just looking and never assist

The pool area was rough and the pool was not clean. The pull out couch was also not clean but the staff was very nice and the main bed was very comfortable.

Good accommodations for the price. The King Room was large - essentially a mini-suite. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet - my primary concerns for basic travel. Pet friendly was a plus. It's nothing fancy, but for a simple overnight stay in Birmingham, it more than fits the bill.

Just ok not great. Stains on bedspread top and condom wrapper on side of bed on the floor. When we first got to the room. The metal bed railings were sticking out of the underside of one of the beds. Fake wood floor was dirty to walk on with light colored socks.

The shower control had a sheep point and I hit my head on it while showering. It could have been put on so it was facing down. Also the manufacturer could have given it a rounded end.

* staff person using inappropriate language * we had to buy wash cloths bc the property's towels were stained. * The stopper of the sink wasn't working so if we ran the water, we had to manually let the water out. The hotel is not worth the price.

ROACHES!!!! Found two in my room crawling up the wall. Potato chips and trash under the sofa, small pieces of hair on the shower walls. I seldom write reviews, but beware before you spend your hard earned money here.

Golf Trip
Close to the RTJ Oxmoor Valley golf courses. Room was very spacious and clean. Hardest part was dealing with luggage to third floor. No easy access to load luggage on elevators, had to carry down 5/6 steps to even load luggage cart which was behind 2 security doors. Overall I would stay there again. Price was right!

The rooms are set up oddly, there are no hooks in the bathroom. Makes showering interesting. Our room only had a stand up shower so difficult bathing the kids. Our coffee pot did not work. Just little things. Also difficult to get your luggage to your room. They have steps and no ramps.

Staff was nice, breakfast was great, but property needed some upgrades. The pool was freezing and basically unusuable which is the whole reason we booked there. Otherwise, was a decent place to stay other than the employees getting on the elevator with cigars hanging out of their mouths.

Location was good and I felt safe. Quite a few places to eat which was nice. Lady at check in was very friendly! I wasn’t that impressed with the room. Our sink wasn’t usable because it sprayed everywhere, there was a piece of wood on the wall to keep the chair from scratching the wall and it was hanging by one screw, the AC wouldn’t stay on even if we switched it to the “ON” position. I would need to be desperate to stay here again.
