“Lovely Hotel”

The staff in the hotel were very friendly and very helpful. Extremely accomendating. Felt very safe and secure. Unfortuently you could hear everything outside, but didn't seem to much of a problem to me. Other than that it was very quiet. The rooms were clean and beautifully set out, especially all the bathroom stuff (towels, shower gel etc). Even the hairdryer i found bizarrely in a drawer came in very handy. The bed was extrememly comfortable and were given ample pillows. It was rather chilly in there though so definently needed the extra duvet. The shower was nice and warm. I would definently come back again.

A very convenient location for my business trip.It is near the station and there are plenty of shops and cafes nearby. A good hotel,will use it for my next trip to Wolverhampton.

Our two daughters stayed at this hotel while we were visiting family in Wolverhampton. The excellent Expedia price made this completely worth it. Hotel staff friendly, hotel itself a bit worn down, but still a 3 star. Lots of coach tours stop here. Rooms facing the main street could be a bit noisy with traffic - also when nightclubs nearby close down for the evening. By and large, a great deal. Right across from the bus terminal and train station which can take you anywhere.

“Nothing Fancy”

I enjoyed my 1 week stay at the Britanna Wolverhampton. The room had its quirks...mildew in the bathroom, tub moved when you stood in it, bedspread was older than I am, along with the matress and carpet as well stained... But - cleaning staff was very nice and the location was unbeatable. I will be going back in a few months and booking there again. What first was alarming became charming by day two and through the rest of my stay.

“Not bad for the money”

Britannia Hotel is a good hotel with lots of room for improvement. The good points are: 1. Location. Located, as a straight shot from the rail station, this hotel is located near many restaurants, shopping and transportation options. 2. Size of the room. The Brittannia (double room) is quite large by UK/European standards. The bathroom is a bit larger than most of the smaller hotels you would find in London. 3. The service staff is quite friendly and helpful: from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. 4. The breakfast buffet is quite nice and tasty (however the scrambled eggs if you arrive late, are overcooked, having been on the steam table for a while) the fried eggs are perfectly prepared. The Cons are as follows. 1. While the room is clean. the carpeting and wallpaper are aged. 2. The TV is not cable and shows just a few channels. 3. The price of the breakfast buffet is 10 pounds. if your breakfast is not included with your room (however, if you have breakfast included, it is not a bad deal. I have stayed at the Brittannia a number of times and I certainly would return again. Be mindful, you generally get what you pay for. This is not the best hotel I've stayed in, and certainly not the worst. If you need a nice place to stay and a comfortable bed and not an incurring a lot of expense. This is the place. If, however you want luxury. Look elsewhere.

“Quite a surprise”

I have stayed in Britannia Hotels before and they are OK but no more. This hotel was brilliant. The staff actually knew what they were doing and the restaurant service was superb. I would nhappily stay here again. Pity the bedroom was a bit shabby but it was spotless and the bed was comfortable; I had an excellent nights sleep.
