Great hotel not too far from Barber MuseumPosted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: fully stocked kitchenette, great bed, thick bath towels, safe neighborhood, pantry, grocery stores nearby
Cons: door won't slam shut so hard
Location: Neighborhood is business area that feels safe & clean. Nearby, there's a gourmet grocery store & regular grocery store along with lot restaurants
We've been staying at this hotel 3 years in a row to attend the Barber Vintage Festival in Leeds, AL which is less than 20 minutes away. We've always had a clean room, quiet (tho door does slam behind you harder & louder than you would think), wonderful kitchenette stocked with full size fridge, stove, micro, plates, utensils, cups & glasses and dish washer packets. Everything it provided, even a bag of micro popcorn to snack on. Hotel staff is sparse but there's usually someone at the front desk or near by. Bed is firm and comfy along with the thick towels in the bathroom (no robe, tho.) Didn't use the Wi-fi this time but in the past, it's worked well. Not super fast but manageable for work & leisure. Neighborhood seems like a nice, business area that feels safe & clean. If you aren't hyper picky, the "pantry" can save you from having to buy a meal in town. Way, way better than any vending machine. Nearby, there's a gourmet grocery store & regular grocery store along with many different restaurants. I have nothing to complain about but then I'm not the type to freak if I find a piece of lint on the carpet. I certainly can't complain about the price when I was totally comfortable.

Good hotel especially for the price.Posted Oct 2, 2013
Staff was really friendly and the rooms were clean. The suite had a dishwasher as well as a full sized fridge. The hotel is sdvertised as completely smoke free but some of the halls still smelled of smoke. Overall, I would stay again.

Great stay!Posted Sep 23, 2013
We stayed here on our way back from Gatlingburg for just one night. It was phenomenal!! So clean and comfortable...the price is just perfect and an excellent value! I wish we would have known about Candlewood Suites before because we would have stayed at the one closest to Gatlinburg. Will always stay here from now on whenever we go on a trip somewhere.

Perfect for pet owners.Posted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: Pet Friendly and Clean
Cons: The addition of a pool.
Location: It was close to Greystone Country Club where I attended a wedding.
Everyone was friendly. The receptionist was very nice and accommodating. It was set back away from the highway with lots of safe areas to walk my dog. The room was clean and the attention to details made me feel welcome and comfortable. The technology was up to date and everything was in working order. No frills, just a clean comfortable place to spend the night. I would stay again.
