Pros: The mattress was great, room was clean. We were just staying overnight in the middle of a long drive, so we didn't really "experience" the place.
Location: Birmingham, AL. There was a nice restaurant next door, which was great, since we had been driving all day, and had another long drive the next day.
Stayed there just to have a place to sleep in the middle of a two day drive from N. Ohio to New Orleans. Chose Candlewood because it was pet-friendly. The room was fine, the mattress was wonderful. I'd stay at a Candlewood anytime, based on our experience.

Location: Location was ok too much traffic Sat in traffic jam forever

Pros: Rooms looked nice.
Cons: Construct it better.
The rooms appeared updated and looked nice. However, after spending time in the rooms we realized that they had been shoddily constructed. The towel rack fell apart. The piece where you hang your towel came off the wall and bashed my wife's big toe. There was no air conditioning in the bedroom part just in the main room area. The lights next to the bed did not work independently of the overhead light in the bedroom so if you wanted to just use a light to read you also needed to have the overhead light on.

Overall it was a good stay and my only real complaint would be that they update their towels, they feel like sandpaper. Get softer towels and its a good place to stay for an affordable place.
