“Would stay there again”

Hotel was very clean and tidy, staff were very helpful and friendly.Our room was spacious and clean, lovely shower. A very good price including breakfast. Motorway noise was not an issue and car park gave you piece of mind that your vehicle was secure. Would stay there again.

Enjoyed the stay. Staff were very pleasant, and the room comfortable, even if soft furnishings were a little dated, and mismatched.The breakfast was fine and rgere was as much as you wanted. We would stay again when in the area.

“Noise”

Hotel was great, only real issue was the amount of noise. There is no air con so u have to leave the window open and the M6 is right next to the hotel and ur also on the main flightpath for the airport. Apart from that the room was great.

“Good Location and Excellent service”

This hotel is ideally located to many motorways routes. The service is excellent and very attentive for a budget hotel. Would not hesitate to return.

“Excellent Hotel”

Stayed here for just one night with my family found the Hotel very clean and modern with no frills. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend to anyone, also very close to Star City so there is plenty of things to do & places to eat close by.

“Not impressed”

I am afraid I was not impressed at all. The bed dipped in the middle making you feel like holding onto the edge. The light on the desk did not work. The soap bottle in the shower was empty, not good when already in the shower ! The heater did not work, asked at reception and told us to wait 15 mins for to warm up. left on all night and still did not warm up which in the middle of a freeze in January is not good.

“Not Impressed”

I have to say, this would have to be the worst Express Holiday Inn we have ever stayed at. On check-in the customer before us was given a room that was already occupied. The same occupied room number was on our paperwork, so the same room was given to three different people. The hotel also said the room had not been pre-paid, that the hotel was going to charge us. Thankfully we had our Expedia print-out that said the room was paid in full or we would have been charged twice for the room. The fold out couch had disgusting stains on it. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Doggy toaster that either caught the toast on fire or didn't toast at all. Juice machines were turned on just prior to breakfast being closed. This hotel is extremely close to the M6. The windows do not shut tight, so if you are a light sleeper you will be disturbed by the noise. It also lets a draft in the room.
