Pros: The staff.........very friendly.
Cons: What if something got spilled on mine or another guests' bed cover, we couldn't get a replacement comforter? NOT acceptable.
My sister also stayed and had a pull out sofa bed....they didn't have any extra blankets! Really?? A hotel with NO extra blankets, comforters or bedspreads? Once my room was cool enough and then turned it down, tried to turn back up and wasn't even sure it was working, so never cooled back down to my liking.

NIce indoor pool!!!!!!!!

Pros: The indoor pool was clean and warm and had a fresh scent. The room also easily accommodated myself and my two teen daughters.
Location: Located near a Walmart with several restaurants close by.
Check in was swift and easy. I had made reservations and had no issues with checking in. The staff member was polite. The hotel was quiet and had very little activity. The room was spacious and the beds were big and comfortable.

Not too bad overall!

Pros: Close to restaurants
Cons: The staff was ok when we checked in but the night staff seemed to not care at all what was going on.
Location: Not too much to do.
We stayed for 2 nights ( Friday and Saturday), the first night was fine, the kids swam in the pool and it was quiet, the second night however was completely different, there was a very large crowd of children running all over the hotel, crowding the pool, letting all their friends in the back door, running up and down the halls making a ton of noise and not a single adult to be found. We called the front desk but got no resolution whatsoever due to the fact that it was a younger girl as well who was talking to a couple teenage boys and not really paying attention to what was going on in the hotel, although I know the hotel cannot control who stays there, they can make an effort to control the behavior and remove people who are disturbing other guests.

This is a very nice hotel. Ever time I stay Here it great. Only thing is House keeping beating on my Door 3 hrs before checkout time. Very disturbing.

It was under construction during my stay so that could be partly to blame for the state of the general area my room was at on the first floor.

You get what you pay for

If your looking for a cheap, one night stay and don't care about the amenities this is the place. Staff was friendly but very sparse. Called front desk at 6am with no answer after 5 minutes. Pool had clumps of hair in the water and pool room had litter strewn throughout. Was not cleaned up the following morning. Hot tub water was a light green color. Room bathroom fan did not work and smelled of mildew. Fan on high cool would not cool room. Breakfast in morning was good.

The hotel staff to begin with was unfriendly! The pool was closed the entire time that we was there!! It was a brand new hotel an the furniture was old!! The TV was so small you could barley see it!! The Continental breakfast in the morning was made up of stale muffins a waffle maker that did not work!! It was just horrible!! I'm not one who usually complains but if ever in Bessemer al do not stay here!!

Nice family getaway

It is very well suited hotel for a family with children. It offers a nice breakfast with lots of choices. There are several good restaurants around, too. The indoor swimming pool is nice for children. The staff was very friendly.
