“Very nice amenities, but no free wireless as advertised!”

The manager's special was nice, but the breakfast buffet was great! The only thing to complain about was the fact that "free wireless" was for their silver and gold HHonors members (i.e., frequent users of their hotel chain). At least the business center was free, so I could use their computers to check email. I really liked this hotel and will stay there again if I return to Birmingham, AL.

“Love the rooms and the breakfast”

This is really worth the value for 2 as the room size and configuration is so good that it doesn't fee crowded. Forget the separate rooms. As with all of these Hiltons, the breakfast is excellent. I skipped lunch.

“Nicest hotel I've ever been in.”

Atrium was beautiful. Open bar from 5:30-7:30, Denny's/Ihop quality breakfast buffet with omelettes to order. Super comfortable bed. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. I've stayed in more expensive hotels, but none come close to Embassy Suites. This is the 3rd Embassy Suites I've stayed in, and they continue to impress me!

“Good value in a great location”

Very nice hotel in a great location. Big rooms! Hotel personnel were extremely helpful and friendly. This is a good value considering the free breakfast, free parking and manager's reception. Skip the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Take the free hotel shuttle to Five Points South for great restaurants.

“Nice”

Nice hotel. Spacious rooms, nice pool area, good breakfast, friendly front desk. Would stay here again.

“Very close to Zoo and Mountain Brook”

Staff was annoying in insisting that we only have four kids per room use the pool. We had five but the pool was empty.

“It seemed that the cleaning crew was off that Sunday”

We always try to stay at Embassy Suites when available. This hotel is nice and comfortable as expected but it seemed that the cleaning crew was off that Sunday (11/27/11) lobby and floors were not cleaned/picked up from the night before. The rest of the hotel crew did not seem to care either.

“Very nice experience”

Very nice set up with rooms facing a very large open area that make a great space. Very good, full breakfast. The only complaint I had is that the door to my room needed replacement as you could see through a gap when closed
