Rude Staff. 'Balcony' is a ledge.Posted Mar 25, 2015
Pros: At least the room was clean.
Cons: Staff friendliness and competency needs severe attention.
Location: Maps were misleading as there were not many restaurants within a short distance. The highway is right outside so we heard traffic constantly.
The staff was rude from check in to check out. They provided our information to someone who called asking for us, despite a specific request for them to avoid that. When I spoke with the manager the next morning, she said "I can't speak to the actions of my night staff." Right... The balcony is not a balcony at all, but a smoking ledge. We wanted to be able to have breakfast outside, especially when the breakfast the hotel served was severely crowded due to dirty dishes left on tables across the lobby. You can't fit a single chair on the balcony, none the less sit on the ground of it.

Ok hotelPosted Mar 18, 2015
Hotel itself was very nice but the cleanliness could be better. The pool had scum all along the sides and our room had dust near the vents and the bathroom smelled as if it had been cleaned with a dirty mop. The bed was clean and comfy though. The staff was friendly and there was a great breakfast buffet.

Excellent experiencePosted Mar 12, 2015
The hotel is a little bit older but it makes up with charm. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast and nightly special were the icing on the cake.

Very pleased with my stay at Embassy Suites!Posted Feb 27, 2015
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Ruth's Chris Steak House on site in the lobby was a selling point for me.
Cons: The couch in the room was a bit dated and uncomfortable. The rest of the room was updated and comfortable, so it was not really an issue.
The front desk staff was extremely helpful and provided me with directions to my meeting when MapQuest was not accurate. The ability to order room service from Ruth's Chris until late evening was a relief after a long flight and late arrival. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would recommend it to anyone, especially for business travel.

Great weekend.Posted Feb 12, 2015
I took my wife to Birmingham for her birthday and spent four nights in this hotel. The staff were very accomodating and friendly form my arrival to departure. The hotel is located in a nice area that is accessible to all the places we visited .The breakfast was excellent. The evening reception was also nice. We enjoyed the stay and will come back again. The wi-fi is another story. I don't think there should be a charge for the internet.

Nice, All Suite HotelPosted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: Large, allergy free rooms, very comfortable beds with excellent linen, outstanding individual room temperature controls, free shuttle services/parking
Cons: New living room furniture. 55 inch tv instead of 47inch in the bed room.
Location: About 15min from the airport close to the city, unlimited things to do.
Checked in and checked out, breakfast was good. Facility was spotless like usual. Staff friendly and courteous. The morning chef definitely knows how to make a perfect omelet . The hotel has an excellent high end steak/seafood restaurant. The rates have increase significantly so its getting a little pricy for the area. I stay here prior to and returning from international flights approximately every six weeks which helps me prep and recover from 36 hour flights. The suites are quite large and comfortable, one time the only room available was the king suite which is really large. It has a free shuttle to and from the airport with extremely helpful drivers that actually load your luggage and offer advice on what to do and see if you have time. They will also take you anywhere you want to go --within reason. The rooms have excellent temperature controls and are very quiet even when close to capacity.

Typical Embassy Suites hotelPosted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Room layout and breakfast
Cons: Fitness center
Location: Location is a bit tricky to get to from any of the interstate highways.
We like to stay at Embassy Suites whenever possible. The suite layout allows my wife to stay up watching TV while I go to bed and have I disturbed sleep. The place was clean and attractive as would be expected. The fitness center showed signs of neglect as there was no water or cups for the water cooler. Also one of the treadmills would not run and the other had a broken clip on the safety lanyard. On the plus side, it was a comfortable stay and the cooked breakfast was excellent!
