Nice hotel, quiet area.Posted Jul 16, 2014
We were passing through Birmingham for this stay. Very comfortable hotel. We also enjoyed the complimentary cocktail hour (especially after 12 hours on the road) and the complimentary breakfast. Great overall experience. The pool was closed for maintenance, the only downfall.

It was great! We went for just a night just so we could see the firework show on the 4th and it was a great view from the parking lot.

No towels at the Embassy!Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: The breakfast was good, however I was disappointed because I had left my ticket in the room and the cook made me go to the room to get it.
Cons: Customer Service should be more of a priority.
Location: Location did not have enough restaurants around or anything to do.
I was not please with house keeping, I told room service to come back later to clean because we were still in the room but she never came back to clean the room, also I was shock that they gave out of towels and soap when we ask for more. If we had not bought soap with us on our trip we would have had to have gone to the store for soap. I stayed at Embassy in several cities but never experience giving out of soap and towels!

Great place to stay!Posted Jul 1, 2014
Experience true southern hospitality. The best feature about the Embassy Suites is the friendly staff. The complimentary evening social hour and breakfast complete the package. No regrets!

Close to UABPosted Jun 22, 2014
Pros: The reception, breakfast and staff.
Cons: Communicate problems with the room.
Location: Lots of stuff
Everything was really nice . The thing that was disappointing was we had our son with us and we were not informed that the roll out bed on the couch was broke, and unusable We found out only when it was late and he was ready for bed.The whole point of staying in the suite.

Convient locationPosted Jun 19, 2014
Had a wonderful time at the Homewood Embassy Suites. We stayed in the 2 bedroom King Suite. It was comfortable, but a little dated. The furniture was scratched and the couch had a cigaret burn on it. Other than that it was fine. We were just there for the night passing through. The kids enjoyed the pool area and we all enjoyed the reception time that was offered. The drinks and snacks were good. The bartenders did a great job! We didn't have the breakfast because we met friends for breakfast that morning.

Great location in a wonderful cityPosted Jun 6, 2014
Pros: Large room, free parking, nice breakfast and cocktail reception.
Location: Fabulous restaurants in the Five Points area.
The hotel is perfectly located and has everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The property is showing its age a little and needs updating. That said, it is a great value and the staff is really helpful.

Nice hotel near University of AlabamaPosted May 13, 2014
Pros: The staff, and breakfast.
Location: Very close to The Summit, which has some of the nicest stores in the southeast. Also convenient to downtown Birmingham.
Stayed at Embassy Suites to attend my daughter's graduation from Bama. Met Heather and Michelle, who help run the hotel at their Happy Hour. Had a lovely conversation about why we were there, and when we got back to our room after dinner, a bottle of iced Prosecco was waiting. Totally unexpected, but so appreciated.
