Freezing room!!Posted Apr 22, 2014
Cons: Customer service. Front desk staff were as cold as the room.
Location: Nothing close. You need grab a taxi to eat.
The room temperature was ridiculous. The heat was turned up full blast but it seems to be controlled from elsewhere. The room was freezing! So much that we had to sleep in sweaters. The gentleman we spoke to at the front desk was no help as he told us we already got a discounted room and he can't put us in any other room. Unreal! The hotel was clean I will admit, and the buffet breakfast was so-so. We were very disappointed especially coming from a HILTON.

Good hotelPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: The hotel is excellent, clean ,quiet and well maintained. The staff were polite and helpful. I fully recommend the hotel
Cons: More vegetarian choice for cooked breakfast to include a cooked Vege. Breakfast
Location: Close to a good cheap car park, many places of interest close by
Very good hotel, well placed for places of interest such as the Pen museum, Art galleries and ST Paul's Square, interesting for The Jewellery Quarter and good quality restaurants with plenty of choices. Close to public transport, but easily walk into the city centre, interesting architecture on the way

Good value.Posted Apr 8, 2014
This hotel is walking distance to the city centre, but not overly busy, which makes it perfect for families. We will prob stay here again if we travel to Birmingham. Parking can be busy though.

A very pleasant and comfortable stayPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: The tastiest sausages I've ever encountered in a hotel brekkie!
Cons: It seems trivial - but a little more drawer space in the room would have been welcomed
Location: Near enough to the ICC. I think it took me about 15 minutes to walk there - but it's a bit of an up and down hilly trek so you get a bit of a workout!
This hotel was my home for four nights while I attended a conference at the ICC. I have to say this was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Birmingham - it offered what seemed to me to be a luxury experience at an affordable price. Smashing room, very comfy bed - I slept like a log, spacious shower, plenty of towels and pillows, very decent hairdryer and godsend iron and ironing board. Lovely big flatscreen telly with all the channels where you would expect them to be on Freeview, with a comprehensive on-screen guide - rare in my (admittedly somewhat limited) experience. Elsewhere I've lost the will to live trying to find a decent TV channel to watch after a busy day. Every member of staff I encountered was unfailingly friendly, welcoming and well-presented. Relaxing bar area and dining space. Breakfast to die for! A very appetising range - really set me up for the day. Fast WiFi in the room which was included in the room rate - I was getting 11.5 meg on my Kindle Fire, with a surprisingly impressive upload speed too. After long days at the conference it was a joy to get back to my room and relax in comfort. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great value for money optionPosted Apr 7, 2014
Perfect for a trip to the Jewellery Quarter and only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, this was a great value for money hotel for a two night stay. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and breakfast was more than adequate to set you up for the day.

Good hotel, well situated.Posted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: The modern feel and the cleanliness.
Cons: Freshly cooked eggs for breakfast.
Location: 10 minute walk to City. Must visit the jewelry museum just a short walk away. Parking around the corner for £3.20 all day from 8am free after 6.
First impressions good with helpful friendly reception staff. Room very clean although a bit tight for space. bathroom very modern and clean. Breakfast adequate, serving both hot and cold food. Juices, cereal, yogurts. Bakery goods. The hot food, bacon, sausage, beans, potatoes and scrambled egg. The breakfast area was bright and clean. However I am not keen on mass produced scrambled eggs, no alternatives offered.

Cons: better arrangement for payment of parking
Location: location excellent next to dominos pizza short journey into town
