“Air conditioning and heating unit did not work.”
This hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean, and comfortable. My only problem was the thermostat for the air condtioning unit did not work. Got in late on a cold night. No heat in the room. Was cold all night. Hotel tried to fix the next day. Still did not work right. Had to just control the room temp from the unit rather than the wall thermostat. Not a big deal really except when it gets too hot or cold at 3 AM you have to get out of bed to change the unit. They tried to offer appologies in the form of a little bag of goodies. Would much rather have just had a room with a working thermostat.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was ready and waiting for us at check-in. The clerk also was helpful in directing us to several nearby restaurants within walking distance -- it was a great place to stay. If we travel that way again, we would definitely stay at this hotel.

I was in Birmingham for a couple of days at Barber Motorsports park and decided that we would rather stay near some good food rather than near the track. The Summit place mall is right accross the I459 so it worked out really well. Great hotel, nice people, clean rooms. What more can you ask for?

The overall experience was very nice. The grounds were well maintained, the lobby was decorated well, the morning buffet was well stocked & monitored by the staff. All of the staff members were friendly & profressional.

Great stay- The King size room had lots of room. Very clean!!! restaurants, Target right around the corner. Right off the 2 main roads Plenty of parking & don't have to deal with vallet parking like in Birmingham
