Nice hotel closed to many things

Very nice staff, comfortable stay, family friendly. Nice breakfast, Tuesday and Wednesday complimentary dinner. We really enjoyed our stay, definitely we will go back sometime.

Decent place, decent price

Cons: There were a few minor issues with the room, nothing that a little attentive maintenance staff could take care of. Nothing major-minor.
Location: It was very conducive to the business that I had to attend to.
The people were pleasant and outgoing, very friendly. I used the place to sleep and rest for the next day-excellent place to do both.

Disappointed for Myself and Our Group

My wife and I and 45 other people from our hometown attended a conference, downtown. I have stayed at a number of Hampton Inns but was disappointed at the disrepair of the facilities. The walls are in desperate need of paint. Out door handle was broken. The hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. I was embarrassed that I suggested it for our group. The front desk person was surely the first day and sweetened up two days later! :)

Location: We had a seminar in Birmingham, so location was perfect
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was nice.

Great service but hotel needs some updating

Front desk service by Cornelia was excellent. She really helped by getting us into a room prior to official check-in time so that we could get ready for a wedding. Room condition was ok but needs some refurbishing. Breakfast buffet was plentiful but did not have much flavor.
