“Really lovely Hotel Great Location”

Great hotel, Room really clean and modern. Great location. Across the road from shoping center and cinema. My only complaint was the swimming pool on a friday afternoon has childrens swimming lesson. The pool is only small and cold. Not ideal if you want to relax after a day of travelling. Other than that really enjoyed are stay.

“Excellent value for money”

I was visiting Solihull for one night only for a 40th birthday party so wasn't looking for anywhere too grand. However I dropped really lucky with the Holiday Inn. It was a perfect location for me. 10mins walk from the rail station and only 5 mins walk to the centre of Solihull. A 4 star hotel with lots of facilities but for a budget hotel rate. The room was large enough with two larger than average comfortable twin beds. It even had an iron and ironing board in the room which was great for getting ready for the party. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Great shopping location”

Bit over priced for the simplicity of the hotel but good location with lots of shopping across the road

“Convenient but expensive”

Superb location and the shopping/dining complex accross the road was excellent. At the room price - surprised to be charged a fiver for parking the car overnight. Also surprised at no provision of bottled water in the room - and would have paid for this basic provision. When I mentioned this on checkout I was told I could have upgraded my room to include a mini bar.

“Needs Internet”

Excellent hotel. Only real problem is that internet services is not included. It was excessively expensive, almost the same as 1 months normal subscription.

“Very decent hotel”

Stayed for one night and found the room was a nice size, clean and quiet. Hotel on a great location just across the road from touchwood shopping centre

“Overnight Stay”

Having stayed at a number of Holiday Inn's in the UK and Europe, we found that the standards and facilities were good and as expected for a four star hotel. The Dinner menu was not elaborate, what you would expect in a good pub. However the food selected was well cooked and enjoyable. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and consisted of a buffet with an extensive selection of dishes. Overall the service provided by the staff and the the facilities gave us a pleasant overnight stay.

“Good base”

Everything okay, good value. Kelly on reception not very receptive in my opinion! We all have bad days I guess. Good location, nice gym and pool, good base for shopping & night out in Solihull.

“Not the best”

We picked this hotel as a good location to see friends on a recent visit to England. Whilst the check in process was efficient and the room was clean the beds weren't that comfortable. We needed internet to keep in touch with work back in America but they charged an extortionate fee to access; Breakfast is way overpriced AND they charge a daily rate to park there! The hotel is ideally placed for the Touchwood shopping centre and the restaurants there however on Fridays and Saturday evenings there is a lot of noise from the bars there. Overall, as a Priority Club Card Holder, I was very disappointed and felt ripped off at the end of our stay - Avoid unless you are on business expenses.
