Secluded setting and quiet with ample sized rooms.Posted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: It's easy to forget your in a hotel when you have your feet propped up after a long day.
Cons: The kitchen and bathrooms could use some attention. Loose toilet seat and bathtub drain plug won't stay open. Nothing bad, just annoying.
Location: There's many things to see and explore in and around Birmingham with pretty easy access. Excessive traffic from road construction was bad.
This was my first visit to Birmingham, and the Homewood Suites added to the pleasant memories I have of Alabama.

beds were very uncomfortablePosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was nice and the staff very friendly but the beds were extremely uncomfortable and the breakfast the next day was lukewarm including the coffee. I have stayed at this hotel once before and the breakfast was great and so was the coffee. This time not so much.

Very nice hotelPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel. I always enjoy Homewood Suites. The nicest pet friendly hotel I've stayed in so far. Plenty of room for my large family, breakfast is great, friendly staff, basketball court & pool, and bonus dinner included. Great value when you include breakfast, dinner and free entertainment for between events. We will stay there again if we are in the area for sure.

Excellent bang for the buckPosted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: Easy safe parking, free breakfast and dinners along with wine and beer. The staff. The bed was very comfortable. Movie rentals were reasonable.
Cons: The thread count on the sheets. I prefer soft sheets.
Location: Several excellent restaurants are close by.
I was very happy with this hotel stay. I spent 2 weeks at the hotel on business and found the accommodations very clean and comfortable. The suite was a tad bit tight in the living room area. The kitchenette was nice to have although i didn't need to cook since the hotel provided free breakfast and dinners most of the time. The quality of their food and drink was above par.

Very nice!Posted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved our stay here. The room was great! It was very clean and nicely appointed. The staff was great when we checked in and we enjoyed the pool area. The only tiny issue I had was that the dishes were left in the dishwasher. If I was staying for more than one night that's fine to let me know the dishes are clean, but as a mom of two (one who is five months), it was cumbersome to have to unload the dishwasher for one night. Very minor but a small inconvenience all the same.

The hotel was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. It is close to a grocery store and restaurants. Will stay there on my next visit.
