Small problems like no toilet paper, no coffee maker, room too cold paled beside the elevators not working. Walked up 5 Flights and now down flights with luggage. Unsafe for older people. Staff apologetic but that doesn’t help. Offered a free breakfast. Ridiculous.

The elevator didn’t work properly. There was no bartender to work the bar. We were charged for extra guest but no extra bath linens were supplied. Valet service was great, the one plus! We had stayed at an Indigo in Seattle and were very pleased but this one definitely did not measure up.

Staff was very friendly and attentive. Beds were comfy. Lots of rust spots in bathroom. No shampoo, conditioner or body wash in dispensers in shower. Luckily we brought ours. We had two double beds but only two towels. Had to ask for me. Easy fix. Walls are thin. Can hear everything outside your room. Very noisy. I didn’t sleep much due to the road in front of hotel sounding like a drag strip from midnight to 4 am.

The staff are the best I have ever experienced! The room looked amazing but the dirty floors turned my socks black and the only temperature we could experience was either a freezing 63 degrees or 74degrees.

I am a huge fan of Hotel Indigo so when I booked this hotel I expected the same level of experience that I received at the other Hotel Indigo properties! Highly disappointed! Staff was amazing but the overall property was disgusting. Never will I stay at this location again.

The staff was amazing & accommodating. There are sooo many things do around there, it’s amazing. The worst part was finding parking at the hotel but it wasn’t bad at all.

The shower cap was the only redeeming quality
When we checked into our room (502), we had no hangers in the closet, there was no mini fridge, the door jam was unattached so we tripped on it coming in. When we pulled down the covers there was a hair in our bed - and not one from a scalp. There was a carbon monoxide detector velcro'd to the top of the dresser under the television - I am pretty sure that's not where that's supposed to be - is that even legal?! I had already called the desk for hangers, and called again requesting that our sheets be changed. The front desk clerk was kind and came upstairs. We spoke to her about the issues and she moved us to a different room. The new room (701) was a suite, however - The handheld shower head fell off, the water at the mini bar didn't turn on, the bathroom door takes full body force to slide open - and the interior handle has a sharp edge, so using that much force to open and close it actually hurts?! There were only THREE towels in the bathroom - two bath, one hand. Oh and the mat. But...3 towels?! For 2 people?! The TV is not a smart TV - and the guide buttons on the remote didn't work, and although we paid for the VERY overpriced valet parking in the app as requested ($35?! that's wild), we waited 20 mins for the car before anyone even noticed we were waiting. This was maybe one of the cringiest hotel stays ever - it was so bad it was almost comical? The staff was nice enough, but this hotel is honestly just awful. However - the shower caps were A+. so. there's that.

Great experience!
The stay was great! The place is a little outdated but wasn’t bad at all in my opinion. The person at the front was super helpful. I hate that I forgot her name but she was friendly and welcoming and gave recommendations in the area and made sure we were signed up for freebies. It also felt safe! The location is walkable to a lot of stuff and the bartender was SUPER personable, helpful and friendly. Would go back!

Ads about the amenities were misleading wasn’t booked in the room I had reserved no maid service had to ask for more towels and coffee elevator didn’t work half the time ice machine was broke sheets were stained and lost water service on the second day during shower and had problems with keycards staff was friendly but hotel was not up to date and very noisy they don’t tell customers about the noise levels until they are booked

Birmingham overnight
We came into town for a concert. Perfect location, with great places to eat. The parking without valet was not bad, no charges. Not a whole lot of room to park out front to check in. Only one elevator worked and it was fairly small. The beds were comfortable.

Will overcharge you for a room with major issues
The front desk people were absolutely incredible. But the AC was broken for both nights of my stay. And the TV was half Telemundo and didn’t have the correct channels to the channel guide. I got food poisoning and just wanted to watch tv and they sent up “maintenance” which was actually a cleaner who just went out of his way to try to help. He was nice but couldn’t fix the issue. The AC was 74 the first night I stayed and 64 the second. When I was presented my bill it was $49 over the cost hotels.com had given me with no explanation and then when I asked for a discount because of my issues they dropped it to the original quoted price. I had to ask twice more and in the end for all my issues with the hotel they only credited me $59. There are no coffee pots in the room. No cooler. Only tiny tiny trash cans. Overall not a hotel I would go back to. But again, front of house staff were very very friendly and helpful as they could be despite the issues.

I have loved every hotel Indigo that I have stayed at. So, I didn't hesitate to stay at this one when I had to make a last minute reservation. It was pretty disappointing. There were gobs of hair in random places, pubic area hair in one of the supposedly clean towels, the floor was dirty, the elevator was sketch and did not come up to the fifth floor two of the three times I needed to go down.

Parking is too expensive to be so slow with pick up. My shower, sink, bathroom floor not cleaned during my 3day stay. I had to request to have my sheets changed.

I loved everything about the property from the staff to the room the only thing I didn’t like was that I had to walk around the front of the building every night just to get into the hotel when the back door should be key only but I know they probably do that for safety reasons. But other than that 5 stars.

A/c in the room was not working we needed to spend the night at 78 degrees with no air circulation. The hotel has one elevator that can maybe work. Showers have began to grow Bacteria on the faucets. Just go to a newer hotel…

The hotel staff were wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and the cocktails at the bar were excellent. It is in a part of town where sometimes some outside noise can be loud, but it wasn't too bad. Our room had no refrigerator, and the coffeemaker only had decaf coffee. The staff probably would have given us regular coffee had we asked, though. They were very accommodating. The fridge thing was kind of a bummer. They may offer rooms with them, though--if you're looking to book, maybe check that. Overall, a great stay.

There was no lunch served, apparently chef only was available for breakfast and dinner. One Elevator broken. Dog hair all over rug. Not a great experience.

Everything was great with the room and the staff. The issue that will prevent me from returning is the loud music from the nightclub next doir. The place doesn't close until 5 am and there was no escaping the music. All night up until 5 am... the bass. It would have been okay if I were not trying to sleep. My room was on the second floor but sounded like it was in the middle of the club.
