Quality hotel in heart of clubland and NIA

Pros: Fantastic city views
Cons: Prices!
Location: City centre Close to Symphony Hall, NIA, etc., etc. Night clubs, bars, shops, ice riink. How Birmingham has changed since we lived here in the 70's !
A very enjoyable stay. Good range of breakfast food of high quality Disappointed about minibar prices very high Wi fi charged at extortionate rate .should be freein 2014! Car park very high cost Swimming pool pleasant but 1.80 m exclludes many shorter and poor swimmers Didnt try the restaurant, but looked high prices. Can recommend the Pickled Pig which is quite close and reasonable prices

Good location in Birmingham. Great views from 20th floor. Breakfast all good and service too. Bar a little over priced. Overall would stay again.

Lovely stay

Pros: Bed extremely comfy.
Cons: Cleanliness underneath out of sight could be cleaned better.
Location: Although advertised as broad street birmingham this is also only a five minute walk from the bull ring and other shopping centres.
Location good. Car parking charges (not used) extortionate especially as cars seemingly parked on hotel front. Would query whether these cars had paid to park there. Reception impressive and staff helpful. Room spacious and bed very comfy. Blackout curtains very good. Stayed on fifth floor but due to location this was a little noisy around midnight. However, if you're tired this won't affect you. Underneath bed side table not vacuumed so appeared dirty noticed following morning. none of the negatives would hinder a future stay and would recommend.

Great hotel, excellent value, poor breakfast

Pros: Nearly everything - bath, beds, roomy, price, location
Cons: Only downside - don't take the British breakfast - and wifi isn't the best.
Location: Bullring shopping, NEC were our destinations - transport is easy and much is within walking distance.
Very good - to excellent rooms - great value for money, great location, and good service. Only downside - don't take the British breakfast - it's terrible. The non-British (e.g. continental, muesli, fruit) is very good, but scrambled eggs were inedible, sausages burnt, bacon like leather. Wifi is not very good at least on the 7th floor. Would definitely book there again, taking breakfast somewhere else.

Five star hotel with bridge link to Symphony Hall

Pros: Location, views, comfort, quiet, everything works.
Cons: Power shower, better value food.
Location: On "culture square": Symphony Hall, Birmingham Rep, Library. Close to canals, National Arena, Museum, shops. 10 minutes walk from New Street station.
Best location in Birmingham. Comfortable quiet room with reasonable but not very powerful shower. Great views. Breakfast is expensive: suggest going across the square to Wetherspoons.

Very nice hotel, Mattress had seen better days and the sausages were cold at breakfast but other than that the spa areae in particualr was very nice.

Fabulous staff, comfortable, classy hotel

We stayed for 4 nights recently with young children and extended family. The hotel team went out if their way for us to enjoy the stay. Junior suite is lovely , great bath to soak in. Room service was prompt , fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Great pool and jacuzzi. Loved the Hammam Ritual massage, expensive but worth it as a treat. Excellent central location. Expect some noise on a weekend and go early to the Regency Club if you want canap├ęs as they run out.

Excellent hotel with pleasing club facilities

Pros: Club facilities and great views.
Cons: The shower should really have adjustable height and not be controlled from the bath mixer.
Very well appointed hotel in every aspect except that the show is disappointing. The room views (we were 23rd floor) are fabulous. The club lounge facilities are a really nice touch for a pre-dinner drink and leisurely breakfast.

Classy hotel

We stayed recently over the weekend with our 2 children. Staff were very helpful. Lovely hotel. Excellent location, close to restaurants and Nia. Only downfall for us was the pool didn't have a shallow end for the little ones.
