Not sure what I liked.the hotel was old,tried to remodel but not done very well. Very noisey all night long, the walls are paper thin. Think i got maybe 2 hours sleep.The comforter on the bed was dirty .

In room 112 had black mildew reported it to the manager he acted he didntknow but he knew he refused to refund me my money back i was not staying another there was also a crack in the shower when i asked for half of my.money back he refused n threathen to call the law on me on standing up for wat was right n he was in the wrong for knowing about it do not i repeat do not stay at the key west inn

I stayed in the suite , it has a jetted tub that I thoroughly enjoyed. The room was clean and the owner was really friendly and made sure my stay was as nice as it could possibly be.

Overall the room was clean enough, but there was a strange odor we weren't able to destroy. The person who checked us in was behind a glass and although we were there at about 4pm, the lobby was locked and the man behind the glass wouldn't speak to us much and would only do business through the window with us outside. It was just odd, but good enough to one night.

Ice machine broken. No coffee in room or breakfast. If due to COVID. It’s been over for awhile now. Man who checked us in was cold, no customer service, no hi, thank you, nothing. The toilet was plugged up when we went in our room. Had a decent bed and we needed much sleep.

Never again!
We got there late due to morning car troubles, called Key West Inn that morning to let him know, no one picked up the phone, once we got closer we called and told him we would be about and one and a half away, unfortunately we hot pulled over in Phenix County Alabama, so we got to hotel later then we had told him, and boy did he let me know that 😡 then we had 1 room reserved, previously had reserved 2 but canceled, then rebooked the 1 room. And he was not very pleasant about the confusion he started at the window. We have stayed there before with an ok experience then..but WE DEFINITELY WILL NEVER BE BACK, WOULD LOVE TO GET A REFUND, very disappointing and the ROOM #119 was very very dirty, we had to ask for spider spray and he didn't even ask why, just gave it to us. I have loads of pictures, the used rolls of toilet paper had previously been hit with shower water, prior to us in the room. Holes in the blankets, refrigerator never got even cool, we lost food due to that, had to buy us new toilet paper, the head board was terrifying we laid towels on it before we used our pillows. And on top of that, he put us in a handicap room, neither one of us are disabled, we felt horrible in that room.

THE FRONT DESK CLERK IS VERY FLIRTATIOUS AND MAKES YOU FEEL AS IF HE'S DOING YOU FAVOR WHEN YOUR ACTUALLY PAYING FULL PRICE FOR YOUR STAY... VERY INAPPROPRIATE AND MAKES YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND THREATENED THAT YOU MAYBE EVICTED FROM THE PROPERTY IF YOU ARE NOT SHOWING HIM FLIRTATIOUS MANNERS BACK!!! THEY ALSO HAVE NO RESPECT AND ARE VERY INTRUSIVE

Nice Property, Good value.
The hotel is a bit dated . Overall it was clean and quiet and I felt very safe traveling alone. There were several food options nearby. The manager was very friendly and helpful making recommendations.

It was listed as a pet friendly hotel. $10 per pet. They charged $30 pet. Checkout was supposed to be 11AM and it was 10AM. Front desk did not care that the online listing was different.

The hotel grounds were clean, the staff was friendly however I had them put me in another room bc the door latch was broken and there were bugs inside the room. The second room they moved me toom was excellent. It was clean, bed was comfortable, door locked, I felt safe and had a great experience overall.

Pool filled with concrete, had to request towels everyday after room was "cleaned" (basically made up same bedding every night) no towels were left? Toilet paper is apparently by request? No lobby due to "Covid"? Breakfast was a muffin of a bagel passed thru a window. This place was cheesey

This could be a nice property but... My sheets were dirty upon check in, and I was asked to change them myself. The nice man in the office is literally the only one managing everything, check in/out, cleaning rooms, everything. He was busy doing all these things, which is why he asked me to do it. I felt sorry for him so I did. Shame on the property owners for being so cheap that they take in premium nightly fees for what you get, and not paying enough staff to maintain it. But perhaps this man is the owner, in which case, shame on him. No breakfast as advertised, you can't even go in the office to check in, you have to go to a bullet proof window, which made me feel like I was in a dangerous place. At night, children and adults were loitering outside their rooms, loudly talking, shouting and running around. Rooms have been lightly cleaned, but there is dirt and grime in every corner; they need a deep cleaning. I travel a lot and like to stay in motels so I know the average price for what is offered. My room cost 80.00, it should have been half that, considering the condition of the property and contents, lack of amenities, uncleanliness, condition of linens and towels (threadbare, dingy, cigarette burns, etc...), and of course, having to change dirty sheets on the bed, myself. It's a slum.

When I got there the front desk guy started arguing with me saying I was supposed to have a dog with me and asking where the dog was at and told him 3 times I don’t have a dog. The lock on the door in the room didn’t work.. the towels weren’t clean… very sketchy place

Worst stay this millennia! At check in I had to try to talk with the disinterested old man through a tiny slot in the glass. Apparently they are still under lockdown and, with the highway traffic it is impossible to communicate with the dude. Finally got in my room and no towels at all. Chairs were so stained that I used a pillow from the bed to sit on. On the plus side - I saw no insects! I've stayed at Key West Inn in other locations and they were acceptable. No more for this one.

The property was ok was staying there for the race the people there are nice but the rooms all smelled like smoke and the sheets had holes in them no breck fest offered like the web site says and no pool on property as there sight says if your just sleeping there its ok anything longer then a day not a good idea.
