Thought the breakfast could have more options. Staff was friendly!
Property is getting rundown. Elevator was filthy, carpeting in common areas was stained, no hot water, shower doors would not stay closed. Room had no soap, shampoo or conditioner. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Property is in the process of major revocation, something not disclosed on the reservation website. We were assigned a room that was not complete. The shower and bath were not adequately connected to hot water source. The bedroom desk was not securely assembled and collapsed when we put our suitcase on the designed holder. Multiple electrical outlets in the room and bath were not operational. Daytime desk clerk decidedly unconcerned and night staff too busy with other issues. Will most likely never consider a Wyndham property at any level ever again. Picked this one only because of its proximity to grand opening of son’s ninth restaurant in Homewood and will find another lodging to recommend friends to consider when traveling to visit his restaurant.
To be fair, our floor of the hotel was under construction while we were there. There was no hot water. It was very loud. Our room was disgusting. There was no heat in the lobby except for a couple of place heaters and it was in the low 20's/high teens while we were there. We left as soon as we could find another place the next morning.
This property is under construction. Though we had a new room it did not have garbages and the sofa bed still had plastic with no bedding. When we called to ask for bedding they said they didn’t have sofa beds. Had to show them in person we had no garbage cans. My kids were disappointed the pool wasn’t open yet. Very pricey for these conditions
The highlight of this property is their location. It’s set away and not in the thick of the city. It’s near a variety of restaurants and conveniently across from a Walmart.
They were undergoing renovations during my stay. No disturbances or noise, just didn’t looks as put together. Overall I recommend. I always enjoy my stay at a La Quinta.
I did not even get a chance to stay there because they did not notify me that there was going to be $100 deposit for my room and they would not give me a refund back so the night before my grandmother‘s funeral I had to sleep outside in a car so I strongly do not recommend this hotel to anyone

This place had no hot water, the entire property was under construction and there was throw up on the floor in the main hallway

I give the hotel a 4/5 only because the only thing I had a problem with was it was construction being done on the some of the floors and one of the floors I was on and all the fumes was harsh to smell and walking over the workers while they worked was very unprofessional but other than that everything was great. Staff is very friendly and great with guests and room are clean and very nice.

Housekeeping knocked on the door asking if we were checking out hours before check out time. That was ridiculous. I was trying to get as much sleep as possible prior to a long drive.

The water in our shower only got to warm not hot. What especially surprised me was the $100 deposit I had to make in case of damage. I was told we would get it back when we checked out but then at the desk was told they would keep it for nearly a week before putting it back on my credit card.

Dear Michele, we're sorry you only had warm water during your stay, however you're correct there is a 100 deposit for all third party reservation when you check out the 100 is refunded it depends on your banking provider how long the process takes. Again we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, we hope to see you again in the near future.
This hotel is looks like they just started renovations. Our room was on 2nd floor the same floor as renovation, everything was just dirty - like grime on doors, the only working elevator was gross. The front desk associate was very nice- but I wouldn’t stay here again.
I booked the room for the hot water.
The clerk with the extremely long yellow nails lied to me. There was no hot water. The bed was broken. & the dog next door would not stop barking. I was highly disappointed.

The hot water didn't work in sink took 15-20 min to get hot water in tub. Heat adjustment didn't work right. Couldn't watch TV because volume control didn't work and was turned up loud. When We spoke to manager about compensation for these issues they said because we booked on line they couldn't do any discounts that we had to tell y'all. Thank you for any help.
I have no problem when a hotel is renovating. But this hotel gave no effort to clean up, vacuum, or even put away old supplies or debris from rooms they were renovating.
Dust was everywhere. Debris in hallways.
There was no effort to clean the hotel in general and certainly not from the renovation taking place.
At one point during our stay the water was completely off and not working. Hotel staff acted as if this wasn’t an issue and told us they “think it will be on in an hour or so.”
On top of that it was obvious that either hotel employees or renovation team members were smoking weed in the hotel because it smelled like weed much of the time.
I will not stay here again and I don’t recommend.

The room itself was nice spacious and clean. We got in late so basically went right to bed. The next day was awful, there was no hot water, the water was turned off for 3hrs in the middle of the day without notice causing us to be unable to shower nor use the restroom unless we went elsewhere. The elevators didn't work and our room was on the 4th floor. I wasn't aware that this hotel was under construction until I arrived. To top it off my daughter's were going down stairs in the elevator after it was supposedly fixed, when they got to the lower level floor the doors didn't open...my girls were in tears!!! After pressing the open button multiple times the door opened. I will not consider this hotel ever again.
