La Quinta Inn and Suites Fultondale

Worst hotel experience in over 20 years. I arrived after midnight on 3/30 and 3 other families were in the lobby complaining that they were waiting for their room to be cleaned. The said," how could the room not be cleaned when checkout time was 12 hours ago." I received my room right away, only it was the wrong room - they gave me a single king bed, when the room i booked on expedia was two queen beds. The whole reason i picked that hotel was because of the 2 queen beds, but they said expedia booked the wrong room. I went to the room and it wasn't cleaned at all (bed messed up, towels wet, shower still wet, food stuff on bed, desk, towels, garbage everywhere - it was a mess. I couldn't wait for them to clean my room since i had 4 little boys that needed to get to sleep so i went down to the front desk, got my own sheets and towels and changed all of my own sheets, pillowcases, and towels. Even the new sheets were torn, ripped, and stained. It was disgusting.

The hotel stay was okay. The room we had was very dusty and made me sneeze alot. The bedframe, tv, lamp shades and picture frames all full of dust :(

Great clean Hotel that is Pet friendly!

It was exactly as we expected. The room was clean, the sheets smelled clean, and the whole hotel is non-smoking. Staff was also friendly.

The room smelled bad, and there was a condom wrapper on the floor when we got there. Housekeeping did not service the room while we were there.

Very clean.. One of the nicer places we have stayed lately! A little hard to see from the main road.
