“Airport”
Could not be closer to the airport. A stroll across the car park. Comfortable and clean. Would recommend and use again.
“Good hotel for the price paid”
We stayed there just for a few hours because of an early flight and enjoyed it. It was extremely quiet for being right at the terminal. The only problem we had was that the toilet leaked. Hopefully they fix it before the next customer stays there.
“Great for travel in and out of airport”
We just stayed here to catch an early flight. You walk right across the street into the airport, so very convenient. We ate in the hotel - the food was pretty good, but very over priced. The room was laid out funny, and the bathing area chose style over usefulness, but it was a nice, clean room - and large enough for a short stay. The elevator was ridiculously small, which I don't understand in a newly built hotel. They offered 20 min of free internet usage in the lobby, but the rate for 24 hours was about 20 pounds - I find that outrageous. Internet usage in a hotel like this should be free.
“A few minutes walk to the terminal”
I requested an alarm call for 5:45 am. I was woken at at 2:30 am with an alarm call, loosing a nights sleep. At reception the following morning they were extremley unhelpful. Despite the dozy staff, the hotel is very convenient for the terminal & quiet.
“2010 Birmingham Airport”
Location was just what I needed. Had a 6 am flight back to the US, so arrived by train the evening before. Hotel is at the airport, yet I was not disturbed at all by any airport related noise. Found a good restaurant in the terminal - food and service there were better than in most US airports. Expedia rate was significantly lower that the rate psoted at checking.
“very convenient”
Birmingham Airport is being remodeled, so it is presently a mess. We saw some extremely long lines, but we had a Business Class ticket, so we didn't have to stand in the lines. The Hotel was right across the street from our check-in desk, and was (relatively speaking) a refuge from the mess in the terminal. We got a very favorable price on Expedia, and the rooms were comfortable. The WiFi in the hotel was from Orange, and was expensive, but I was able to log in using my employer's Ipass login.
“Great Hotel”
Novotel at the Birmingham (UK) Airport has great rooms, good service, and a location that can't be beat. It is literally a few steps away from the departure area of the airport. Highly recommended. And the price was good, too.
