Reasonable hotel accessible from motorway and near

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: staff quality and accessibility; the bed was extremely comfortable
Cons: the main shower was not working; breakfast was only just tolerable--congealed fried egg, lukewarm baked beans; poor tea.
Location: not relevant to my needs
staff were excellent-communicated superbly and were evidently trained to do so--practical, sharp, everything wanted of reception and restaurant staff

Great, comfortable, clean, would reccomend! Also next to the train station and hasn't had a recent murder in a bedroom avoided a doozie there.

Comfortable and a good location

Posted Jan 31, 2014
Pros: Like most Novotels, the room was very spacious and comfortable
Cons: Cheaper breakfast choices
It is convenient for the town centre. It is close to the bus and tram terminus. The cost of the breakfast is too great when not part of the package. However there is a Wetherspoon's pub close at hand.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, the only downside was a strong smell of cigarettes that came from through the toilet vents!

Thank you for staying at the Novotel Wolverhampton. Our staff are happy to receive your comments regarding the service received from them. All our bedrooms are non-smoking so we are very disappointed to know that your room had a smell of cigarettes. Please accept our sincere apology. Kind Regards John Armstrong (General Manager)

Nice hotel but could be better

Posted Jan 2, 2014
Pros: Bathroom
Cons: Free parking and abit more cleaner
Location: Nothing really nearby other than sainsburys
Originally booked a double room and got a disabled double room because they had no other rooms but don't understand that as I pre booked and pre paid. The noise from neighbouring rooms was terrible and went on till 3am. Called reception to have a word and went quiet for a little while then back to the same again. To top it off further same people making noise first thing in the morning. The cost of food and drink abit pricey and £3 for parking in car park you think it would be free like holiday inn.

Close to the theatre

Posted Nov 4, 2013
Pros: Location, general decor and standard of maintenance Cold breakfast buffet was good Car parking was good value and secure
Cons: The hot elements of the breakfast buffet could be improved; scrambled egg had been sitting for far too long and was very grainy.
Location: Not much to see and do in Wolverhampton but the theatre is great. As car parking is so reasonable and the hotel is easy to find, it is a good base.
Warm welcome, check-in was straightforward at 2pm. Room was comfortable and very clean and spacious. Access to the theatre was very easy. It ticked all our boxes.

A pleasure to stay here

Located in the centre of town the hotel is very well signposted, the large free car park had plenty of space. Check in was friendly & quick I ate in the restaurant where I found the service friendly & quick. My meal was well presented and very nice My room was of a reasonable size & had some nice finishing touches like a socket by the bed, tv with iPod connectivity & a speaker in the bathroom, large sofa & a fridge A good nights sleep followed by a nice powerful shower then breakfast was a nice way to start my day I'd book myself into this hotel again without hesitation
