“Great place to stay in Birmingham”
Great friendly staff. Very Clean. Great place to stay.
“Pleasant stay at this hotel”
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. They served breakfast of eggs, muffins, bagels, sausauge, oatmeal, waffles and many other choices including coffee, orange juice and tomato juice. I would recommend this hotel for anyone.
“Hyatt place”
This is an extremely comfortable hotel with large rooms suitable for meetings. Breakfast was good and there was a 24 hour food service in the lobby. Very good for the business traveler.
“Brand new”
Very happy with the hotel. Brand new! We weren't really familiar with Birmingham, but some of the surrounding area seemed kind of run down. Overall a great hotel and would stay again
“Excellent stay for an excellent price”
It was a great pleasure staying at this hotel. Probably best breakfast in all hotels across the US... In addition you can order delicious add-ons to the breakfast for little money...
“Nice”
Nice hotel, and friendly staff. Only complaint is the bathroom was small, and was shower only (though that wasn't a problem for me, it might be for others).
“Great Hotel Stay”
The hotel was conveniently located in the downtown area. The room was very well kept and the front desk folks were very pleasant to deal with when I needed help. The only drawback was the parking structure seemed at times a little suspect.
“I'm Tired of Interstate Motels”
Staying at the Hyatt Place in Downtown Birmingham added excitement and adventure to a normal overnight stay. Parking was easy, no charge, and safe. The Hyatt was all you would expect. You cannot find a more comfortable bed and pillows at an Interstate chain motel.
“Graduation weekend!!!”
I was very impressed with Hyatt Place. The room was clean, the bed was great, the bathroom was clean, we had plenty of towels, and we even utilized the gym. It does have an indoor pool, it is a little on the small side, but it did not matter anyway because I was not prepared for swimming. Because the hotel is downtown we had to park in the garage; however, the garage was connected by a walkway from the hotel, so it made it very convenient. Parking was an extra $8, but the room key gives you access anytime you want to leave. It was graduation weekend so we only stayed for one night. The graduation ceremony was at the Alabama Theater so we were only 7 blocks away. Restaurants are in walking distance, unless you want to order room services. For most people walking to get something to eat is a downer, but for us it gave us a chance to walk around down town. The UAB Medical Center is located across the street also. Overall, the next time I have to go to Birmingham I will stay at the Hyatt Place no questions asked. This is a beautiful hotel!!!
