“Not impressed”
Not truly a sweet, has a sink, stove, refrigerator and a very small table, unless you get the deluxe sweet!
“Just don't expect a lot”
Nothing special, I believe it's the cheapest hotel in Birmingham and you get your money's worth. Don't expect a lot and you'll be fine.
“Had a few problems, but it was okay for the money”
The "Non Smoking" room smelled very strongly of smoke. The room was among the smallest I've stayed in, similar to a Motel 6 room. I stayed two nights and there was no housekeeping done. Walls were way too thin. I could easily hear what was happening in other rooms. It has a kitchenette, but "Suite" is a joke. However, since I didn't spend much time there, just slept at night, this didn't bother me that much, but I think these problems would bother most people.
“Adequate wifi suite”
This is a perfectly adequate suite hotel on the edge of town. The crucial feature for me was free wifi. They do not supply soap and shampoo, which was corrected at the nearby Walmart. More problematic was the lack of an iron. The nearest place to eat is a drive, not a walk, away. The interstate is about a mile. Downtown Birmingham is 20 to 30 minutes away.
“A Bit out of Town”
A little of out town, but makes up with nice shopping center closeby where you can get anything from Electronics, Drinks to General Stuff, nice resturants too
“Decent hotel”
It's a typical extended stay hotel. My bed was really comfortable. I'd have to agree about the walls being thin and being able to hear the room next to you, but if you sleep with the bathroom fan or the AC on most of the noise you may hear should be covered. The guy at the front desk was very dry and impersonal. wouldn't say rude.. just very "I don't care.. here's your key. now leave me alone" example: I asked do you guys have a password for the wireless?" he replies, "yea".. then silence. decent hotel though.. odd parking..
“Decent Place”
Typical long-term stay facility. Room was a bit stale and musty due to being closed up. It cleared up eventually after I turned on the AC. But my clothes stunk due to the room. The room could use some maintanence as the lampshade needed to be fixed...wasn't noticeable until you turned on the light. Overall the place was clean and alright. The waiver of responsibility form about cars in the parking lot and unattended children caused me to raise an eyebrow. The location is just off of I-65 and Wal-mart and other shops are fairly nearby as are eateries. Fridge and microwave worked alright. Two burner electric range. Not so bad for the price.
“It is OK”
I was a little put-off by where my room was located as it was a main walkway - though it was on the second floor. The doors went to the outside and there was no one available at 4AM when I needed to get to the airport. I must say that the desk people were rather friendly and more than helpful when asked where a good place to go for dinner would be. Overall, it was OK for the price and the rooms seemed quite cozy. I just really didn't like the location of my room and I've been spoiled to having someone at the desk at all hours of the day.
“MISSING STAFF”
THEY ARE UNDER STAFFED THE NIGHT I WAS THERE. WHEN I ENTERED I WAITED 5 MIN. FOR SOME ONE TO COME TO THE FRONT DESK...UNDERSTAFFED. THE ROOM WAS SUPPOSED TO BE NON-SMOKING. I HAD TO WASH EVERYTHING WHEN I GOT HOME. IT SMELLED VERY SMOKEY. I CALLED AROUND 6:30 am TO THE OFFICE AND NO ONE WAS THERE TO HELP ME WITH THE WFi THAT WOULD NOT WORK IN THE MORNING. I TRIED 3 OR 4 TIMES. IT WAS CLEAN EXCEPT FOR THE SMOKEY SMELL. THE SUITE PART OF IT WAS WAS HELPFUL. THE STAFF WAS PLESANT WHEN THEY WERE THERE.
“short stay”
Room needs updates with appliances. Good price
