“Great Hotel”

Perfect hotel for business. Walking distance to NEC. Staff was excellent - friendly, helpful and efficient. Comparing to other UK hotel rooms, the Arden's were good sized with an exceptionally large bathroom. Definitely would stay again - great value for the money.

“Lovely hotel very near the airport”

The hotel is very nicely appointed. Clean rooms, single spigot sink! (a + in England) smallish shower. Desk staff was accommodating. Many good restaurants in the area.

I was very impressed with the Arden hotel. I'd seen the photos on the internet and expected it to be a bit rough around the edges in reality, but I was completely wrong - it turned out to be immaculately clean, newly refurbished and comfortable with lovely relaxing communal areas. The entrance hall is beautiful, the restaurant looked lovely, the bar area is spacious and comfortable and the gym and pool are very inviting. We really enjoyed our lovely comfortable room which was clean and spacious. The breakfasts in the attractive breakfast room were plentiful with stewed fruit, yoghurts, cereals and toast as well as a delicious full English breakfast, and we were able to go up and get more. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the NEC for a show or concert.

Location superb for airport, train, nec, motorway. Leisure facilities excellent and hardly used by anyone else whilst we were there. Full English breakfast available, restaurant very busy at weekend so advisable to book. Bar food good value for money and available late at night too which was very welcome after a concert at NEC.

“Convenient for NECC”

Second stay marred only by wrong room allocation -double not twin rooms we had booked. Transfer meant that alarm call went to original room allocation - presumably to irritation of its new occupants. This hotel is within short walking distance from NECC and has excellent leisure club facilities with welcoming staff. Public areas such as the bar becoming just a little tired over 2-year period.

Very easy to find. Only a 7 minute walk to the NEC. On arrival my impression was a very modern new hotel with a european style reception/hall. Not sure if this hotel was built in 2 stages i.e. one 20/30 years ago or that it had been renovated in 2 stages or not. Our room was in the older wing. The room itself had everything you required however it was very dated. Didnt use restaurant & bar. The pool was good - modern & clean. Lovely changing rooms - very modern, good showers. We were competing at Crufts therefore we welcomed on arrival outside the main door a Poo bin with complimentary bags!! Only problem was that i had asked for a wake up call and never got it. Just a s well i had my own alarm set!
