driving to midlands

Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: location, facilities provided, comfortable, good price
Cons: the only slight problem was the window wouldn't shut and the mat at the door was worn.
Location: convenient if travelling through the midlands between Stratford and Solihull. it's about 2 miles from Henley in Arden with pubs and restaurants.
Very pleased with the accomodation provided, clean and comfortable. It is on the road so the traffic noise was apparent although that didn't take away from having a good sleep.

Unusual and relaxing.

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: The rooms (just 4) form part of a ranch style block. It was lovely sitting out on the veranda, relaxing and looking at the very pleasant view of lawns
Cons: The shower head especially needs a really good clean as do some of the tiles around the shower fittings.
Location: We had out evening meal in Henley-In-Arden. 4 mins down the road by car. A lovely place and several restaurants to choose from.
Just a one night stop but really enjoyed it. Made a very pleasant change from a hotel and very reasonable price.

What a find!

Posted Jun 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
We needed to find somewhere to stay before meeting an early morning flight at Birmingham airport and our two dogs had to come with us. We were absolutely amazed at how welcoming The Henley Lodge is for people with dogs. There is a secure garden, right outside the rooms, for the dogs to roam around. The room was delightful, beautifully decorated and well equipped. We're hoping we need to stay there again soon!

Good value for money

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: As above
Cons: Mirror in the bathroom was for short people, if you're over 5ft 7ins, you need to bend down! Not a major issue
Location: We took a walk into town, about 35 minutes brisk pace but was a lovely evening. Had a great curry at Curry Republic and got a taxi back
We stayed for 1 night and it was just right for us. Nice and clean, no hassle and great breakfast over the road!

Chalet accommodation in heart of Englandshire.

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: Hosts, facilities
Cons: Access layout to grant more privacy (or fit blinds)
Comfortable chalet style rooms. Very friendly hosts. Only slight negative was a lack of privacy if curtains were open as windows are right on access walkway. Otherwise excellent.

New feel to Lodge and very clean

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: Good quality and value
Cons: Nothing
Location: We went to Warwick University as well as Warwick
Stopped here for just one night with daughter, so had room that could accommodate 4. Very nice and stylish, and you could almost smell the new paint. Room was small, but if using it just to sleep I can't see a problem

Lovely boutique style room

Posted May 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here recently for one night whilst attending a wedding nearby. The room was beautifully decorated, giving it a boutique feel and the bathroom was very clean. The henley lodge is situated very close to henley in Arden where there are great pubs, restaurants and shops. The manager was very friendly and helpful, with a nice relaxed attitude. We were made to feel welcome, and will definitely stay there again if we are around that way in the future.

Late booking for NEC Business visit.

Posted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: The lodge rooms are very comfortable and cosy and I would definitely consider staying again.
Cons: Not much, but perhaps a key drop off box for early leavers.
Location: Good location close to the NEC, Birmingham, Solihull etc
Overnight stay and an early departure - the rooms are compact, but very well decorated and exteremely cosy and comfortable. Had a good nights sleep and awoke refreshed for an early start the next morning.

Everything was perfect ... I have high standards and the room we had was perfect warm cozy .. Welcoming .. Would 100% stay again .. Close to the village which has lots of great pubs and resturants ... Can recommend SANS Chinese ... Down side was a tiny on suite ... But still adequatly met our needs .. Many thanks to the owners.
