Okay hotelPosted May 31, 2014
Cons: Expand the breakfast some, maybe some Muesile or something other than cornflakes and cheap bread for toast.
Location: On the east side of the Sierra, hiking fishing, fresh clean air.
Had a three night stay. Reserved the rooms before and I confirmed the week before they had the reservation fouled up or was confused so was glad I called. I had ordered two rooms and they could only find one. Room was decent for the price, clean and fresh. Quiet and off the highway. Wireless was iffy. Staff was courtious and responsive. The continental breakfast was skimpy, coffee (weak), cornflakes (that was all) and those small store muffins so if you are hungry and like real coffee you better plan for town. Place needs a little TLC. Overall, I think I'd stay again for the price. It is under new management.

Great location. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds!Posted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nice little hotel. Easy to park, feels very safe. The rooms are large and very clean- much better than some of those bigger, fancier hotels. I like the ice maker is at the poolhouse in the center of the parking area instead of down some creepy hallway. Oh yeah, they have barbeque grills outside and even a fish cleaning/freezer area!

Over priced for what you getPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: The location. Off the main highway.
Cons: Cleanliness. Breakfast choice was limited.
Location: Keith Hot Springs are a must. We love the hiking.
The bathroom wall and door had yucky gunk on them. Beds were so soft you rolled into your partner. Ice machine and bathroom light not working. Overall, over priced and disappointing.

For a "Motel" that is really inexpensive, this is a great deal!

Convenient on way to MammothPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Convenient to Mammoth. Breakfast was OK and certainly nice to have.
Cons: Bathroom just seemed icky.
The hotel was OK for the price. The shower area felt like a shower at a campground. Cold, dirty, odd tiles replacing broken ones. We didn't shower...

HVAC and cont. bkfast issuesPosted Feb 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
The wall HVAC did not have a shutoff thermostat so it ran all the time on any setting -warm or cool. The free continental breakfast was limited to 2-3 items The coffee was good. The room was big and clean.

You get what you pay for.Posted Feb 5, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel was run down and not clean. There were what appeared to staff members living at the motel and visiting each others rooms often, it was uncomfortable. Will not stay again.

Well-maintained motelPosted Jan 28, 2014 on Hotels.com
We had a non-smoking room, which was truly non-smoking. We appreciated that b/c many motels put up a temporary sign for non-smoking but the smell definitely lets you know the room has a dual purpose. Because I have asthma it is very important for me to not be subjected to thirdhand smoke residue. The room was clean and the location was easy to find. This was just a one-night stay on our way home from San Diego to Reno. There was a continental breakfast but we chose to eat at a recommended (by the proprietor) restaurant for breakfast.
