Over priced for what you getPosted Feb 19, 2014
Pros: The location. Off the main highway.
Cons: Cleanliness. Breakfast choice was limited.
Location: Keith Hot Springs are a must. We love the hiking.
The bathroom wall and door had yucky gunk on them. Beds were so soft you rolled into your partner. Ice machine and bathroom light not working. Overall, over priced and disappointing.

For a "Motel" that is really inexpensive, this is a great deal!

Convenient on way to MammothPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Convenient to Mammoth. Breakfast was OK and certainly nice to have.
Cons: Bathroom just seemed icky.
The hotel was OK for the price. The shower area felt like a shower at a campground. Cold, dirty, odd tiles replacing broken ones. We didn't shower...

Great place for a night or two.Posted Jan 18, 2014
Pros: Comfortable bed.
Cons: Just fix it up.
The owner and his wife are excellent and very friendly. The price is very affordable. The hotel is very old and dated, however. You will find items chipped, tiles damaged, etc. The shower was a small stand up only shower, but the water was hot and the towels were new. TV is small with limited channels. Our room had a little refrigerator which was nice. The room heater unit was very loud. The bed and pillows were comfortable. We only stayed there one night, and would do so again on the way to Mammoth.

Mammoth tripPosted Dec 29, 2013
Pros: Clean, affordable, nice staff, close to Mammoth. Lots of quaint shops in Bishop.
Cons: The tv at times had a large block of black that would cover the screen but it would go away if you turned the tv off & back on again.
Location: Bishop is a very nice town with many places to go, things to see (especially the view of the mountain), and good places to eat.
We wanted a room that was close to Mammoth mountain for our snowboard trip. This motel was about 30-45 mins from Mammoth. Hotels closer in on the week of Christmas were a lot more than we wanted to spend. The room was clean, bed was firm, small fridge for drinks/food, & staff was very pleasant & helpful. Wifi worked fine. The continental breakfast was orange juice drink, milk, cornflakes, muffins, danishes, white bread with butter & assorted jelly's. We ate a bit of this both days, but of course had regular meals in Bishop or Mammoth. The kitchen area also had an ice machine & microwave. We'd stay there again.

Far from dining areaPosted Oct 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is OK for an overnight between Yosemite and Death Valley, but not worth the money. Far from dining and business.

ComfortablePosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
A nice motel, close to the town, very friendly owner/manager, our room was very comfortable, maybe a bit tired but very clean, comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. In summary it did what we wanted a good nights rest on our travels the previous reviews gave us the assurance it was OK.
