Basic place for a stopover.

Stayed at this place on our trip from San Francisco to las Vegas as we drove through Yosemite and death valley parks. We found this place on Expedia and was second cheapest. It was clean but basic.

Not so close to the main town hub, there are better motels/hotels in town

Overall, a disappointing stay. We arrived and the person at the desk was dismissive, more interested in messing with his phone than helping us. The room, while clean, was in need of repairs- the bathroom light fixture was missing its panel revealing bare bulbs and wiring. There were also random holes in the wall. The complimentary breakfast was a joke- we had our choice of two pieces of bread (the end bits) or about a quarter cup of milk. It was a budget hotel, I know, but there are similarly priced hotels in the area with much better services.

I got what I expected

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Rooms are clean, building is old. There's no shade around the building. No green areas. Breakfast is very simple. I went on a holiday therefore price was extremely high. Will not return on a holiday but maybe if there are no rooms anywhere else I might.

Nice place to sleep

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Let's face it, this isn't a 5 star resort but I'm just looking for a clean quiet place to sleep in between fishing. Having said that the marked difference in price and quality of stay supports my thumbs up for Bishop Super 8 .

Last minute

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: It's proximity to everything yet far enough away from any noise
Location: Edge of town, but the town is small anyways. Hiking and sightseeing all nearby
Got my room at the last minute. It was very clean, nice location and comfortable!

Pros: The room I got was perfect for the location as it was very shady during the heat of the day.
Cons: Breakfast items seemed to lack what I had hoped for and there were many things not available quite early.
Nothing note worthy. I stayed the night for my convenience and dislike being asked to write more than I want to.

Not a bad choice

Posted May 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
For the price, not a bad place to stay in Bishop. Since it is at the south end of town, it's not really short walking distance to the restaurants, etc. but that's easily overcome with a short drive. Nothing fancy, but not bad.
