Nice Hotel with pond and an Orange Moose

Posted Sep 30, 2014
Pros: The beautiful grounds outside and the amenities..hiking trail, nearness to the interstate, Casino close by.
Location: The location was good...we were at Warrens Cranberryfest, so we had plenty to do. Not familiar with other things to do near by except for the Casino.
We stayed there two nights...rooms were very nice.. breakfast buffet was exceptional..staff was very helpful

Orange moose

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Location. Good night's sleep.
Cons: Carpet looking tired.
Location: This is a roadside inn just off the freeway exit. Perkins restaurant 1/4 mile away. Not much else. Get up, eat and go. Just what I wanted.
We were driving from Minneapolis to Milwaukee and this is about halfway. Odd to see a huge orange moose outside but there's a local legend to it. Won't spoil it here. Pleasant people provided good night's sleep at a fair price. Not a lot of frills but that was OK.

Fun four wheeling

Dated but comfortable. Restaurant has great staff poor kitchen. Prime Rib was tough as shoe leather. Good hot free breakfast. Right at trailhead for ATV fun.

Nice hotel with restaurant and gas station

Posted Aug 3, 2014
This hotel is convenient because it has a bar/restaurant, a continental breakfast, cheap washer's (not cheap dryers), and a gas station right next to it. The bartender, although overwhelmed, poured good drinks and was sweet. The entree's were just OK but the salad and soup bar was tasty and filling (we should've just gotten that). The hotel itself seemed kind of dirty and stuffy, and when I reached my hand into a bowl of oranges and apples at breakfast, there was a thick layer of goo on the bottom.
