“comfortable stay”

“Comfortable and quiet place”

Stayed in this hotel for four days while my daughter visited a friend at VT. "Campus" is actually a 2.68 mile walk (to Lee Hall) according to my GPS, so take good walking shoes or plan to drive. Hotel was quiet and well run, the pool and hot tub were fantastic, and the complimentary Internet was icing on the cake (I'm used to paying 18 bucks a day for Internet in NYC). All in all, I recommend this hotel.

“Great Place to Stay”

This was a relatively new hotel when we stayed; everything was in pristine condition. Room was immaculate. Nice lobby and business center. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast buffett until I got the bill; it is not included. Great hot shower, so-so TV and polyester blend sheets on the bed. C'mon, Marriott, spring for the 100% cotten! Overall, a nice stay in a nice hotel.

“Excellent amenities and staff”

Overall my stay was quite pleasant and enjoyable. The whole place seemed very clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was not included in the room rate but was VERY well priced at about $10 for an adult. If I return to Blacksburg I will strongly consider staying here again, provided it is convenient to where I will need to be.

“Last apartment move”

In moving our two children from VA TECH dorms to various apartments over the last ten years this is one of the nicer hotels we have stayed in. The hotel is relatively new and the rooms were quite nice. The breakfast was great but remember, it is not free.
