Another great stay...Posted Aug 31, 2013
Pros: Staff is great. Willingness to assist with parking, early/late checkout etc... is great. Room set-up is ideal for students/family.
Cons: Parking under hotel is tight. Some rooms are louder (noise from ajoining rooms) than others. Rooms need to have noisemakers in room.
Location: Restaurants and bars galore (try the cellar). VT is walking distance. Starbucks across street. Cabo fish tacos (yum!). Hokie Cuts (barber)
My home away from home--just the same, just right. Great room with wonderful staff. Super coffee and biscotti in the lobby--avoid the styrofoam muffins (really? not up to your standards! the mini-foam-psuedo-muffins by the couch in the lobby were inedible.) Room was clean, stocked and well maintained. The air conditioning thermostat on this room was a little off (wouldn't come on without turning down really low--but worked fine at lower setting). Staff is wonderful. Rate is very good for location and quality.

Excellen hotel, close to shops and restaurants.Posted Aug 17, 2013
Pros: This hotel had very high class furnishings: furniture, lamps, etc. The lobby was beautiful; very homey and inviting!
Cons: For my particular sleeping situation,I would have loved to have 2 queen or full beds instead of one queen bed and a hide-a-bed.
Location: Excellent location. It is very convienient to restaurants and shops.
The staff was very welcoming and accomodating. We have a large 4 wheel drive truck that would not fit easily into the parking garage. They allowed us to park in the outdoor parking area. I needed to have bedclothes for the hide-a-bed and the receptionist was very quick to bring them toour room. I had a lovely walk early in the morning...all over the town of Blacksburg, VA(owing to the convenience of the hotel to the cilty).

Great location.Posted Nov 22, 2011
Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. However, two areas could be improved upon. We were not permitted to park in the adjacent parking lot to the hotel, but instructed to park in a parking deck across the street and in the back of some shops. The parking deck was very isolated and did not appear to be well monitored. It was very inconvenient having to trek over there whenever we needed our car. The second area that could improve would be to have a continental breakfast available, coffee was provided, but you had to leave the Inn and search for a breakfast spot in the morning.

Perfection!Posted Jul 15, 2011
Loved the hotel! Loved the location! Convenient to Va Tech campus, to downtown restaurants and much more. Nothing to complain about except that our schedule was so busy that we didn't get to relax and enjoy the hotel as much as we would have liked.
