“You get what you pay for. Not exactly awesome but i'd stay there again.”

A/C, cable, and internet all worked.. Did have small continental breakfast as well. Not a bad deal.

“Comfortable motel”

The motel isn't in a fun touristy neighborhood, and I don't recommend walking along the busy road, but it was convenient to drive to from Blacksburg. The room was average clean (I've seen cleaner, and I've seen far worse) and a pretty good size for the price. The beds were comfortable, and the continental breakfast has a couple of decent choices. All in all, it exceeded my expectations for the price I paid.

“Overnight stay”

I was travelling a very long distance and this was the halfway mark so I only needed a place to sleep for the night, and this was perfect. Also, I booked it at the last minute. If you just need a decent place for overnight stay then I recommend this hotel. The staff (Amy) was especially nice with a wonderful disposition.

“Simple, clean.”

Good for a night's sleep. Excellent hot water availability and pressure. Poor lighting.

“Price is Right...........”

This hotel is a basic hotel. No frills, no thrills. The customer service was very good, the price is right. We stayed here just for a place to sleep. This is an older facility, yet it is clean. Good shower. Met all of our needs. Checked the bed closely for bed bugs which checked out very well. No problems at all. I would stay here again.

“Simple and cheap”

I was arriving very late at night and getting up early so I was only looking for the least expensive place for a few hours sleep. Hotel was no frills; nothing bad. Wouldn't pay more and didn't expect much.

“Acceptabale”

This hotel was acceptable, but not worth what I had to pay. Rates were extremely high due to local colleges (2) parent weekends so nothing was available. Room was clean and furnishings were ok. Definitely needs to be upgraded as there was evidence of ceiling leaks, wall paper peeling in bathroom, Only 2 towels in bathroom and they were barely large enough to use after a shower. Breakfast was cereal and pastry in celophane wrappers like you would get at a shopping club. Coffee cups looked like the ones you get for free samples in stores. Desk help was friendly at checkin.

“Not impressed”

The outside looked cheesey, but the rooms were nice.

“IT WAS CHEAP AND CLEAN. NOT MUCH ELSE.”

The hotel was clean but needs a bad facelift. Old fixtures and the beds were not that comfortable Furniture was old and somewhat beat up. I wouldn't stay if it was more than one night. There were better hotels for $15 or $20 more.

“Recent trip to Blacksburg, VA”

For what we paid not bad, hotel is in need of some serious TLC. Ceilings, Walls, Showers, Floors all need some attention. However, for the price the hotel is a bargain during Football Season and the Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Restaurants, Shopping and Va Tech are all close by!
