“Good for the money”

This hotel is very reasonably priced. It is clean and convenient to Virginia Tech. The only negative was the maid used her key to enter our room without knocking while my son and I were sleeping and my husband was in the shower. We had 2 hours before check out time. No knock, and no announcement that maid service was there. I have stayed at this hotel before without incidence so I would still recommend this hotel.

“Good Place for an overnight stay”

Clean and comfortable. Two criticisms: pillows on our King bed were rather small and complimentatry continental breakfast was not well stocked.

“Quaint”

This was a quaint hotel. The continental breakfast wasn't "healthy friendly" but they seldom are. Room was clean. It snowed while we were there and they were attentive to that.

“If you want to save money, this is your place!”

This hotel is located across the street from a Holiday Inn Express and about .25 miles from a Quality Inn, but it costs less than HALF the price of those places. There are not a lot of luxuries, but it was clean enough. I was surprised by the nice soaps and shampoos, the great heater in the room (it was never too cold and warmed up quickly), the very friendly and helpful staff. I asked for a room close to the office, and I was moved without questions. You can forget the breakfast except for the coffee. If you want home comfort or a little luxury, then stay at one of the other two hotels and don't complain about this one!!! BUT if you want to save money, you will be fine here. Ask for a room away from the office if road traffic bothers you, and plan on paying for breakfast somewhere else if you are a breakfast person.

“Sufficient for our visit, especially for the price”

Hotel room was clean and sufficient for what we needed - a clean bed to sleep in! Fridge and microwave provided, is always a plus. The "continental breakfast" offered cereal and English muffins, juice, coffee, and 2 tables for guests. If you're seeking frills - this is not the place. But it provided what was needed for our Christiansburg visit.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to cancel our second night, on late notice, and they were very accomodating

“Blacksburg trip January 2011”

Fine for the price, but wouldn't stay in the winter again, since only accessible from outside (15 degrees one night during stay). Did not have ironing board or iron. Carpet probably had not been cleaned in some time. Motel is very convenient to interstate highway and close to our intended destination of Blacksburg, VA.

“Good Value”

Good Value/Will likely stay here again when visiting area.

“If you just are looking for somwhere to sleep”

This hotel is nothing to be impressed with, however I have no complaints. It was a room to sleep in, no frills.
