Very convenient location to VT. The Inn is very pretty. Bathrooms could use and update. Preston's is great for breakfast.

It was very quiet and peaceful. The rooms must be well-insulated because we didn’t hear our neighbors or people walking down the hall. I wish the pillows were more comfortable, however- they felt flimsy and cheap.

Excellent ! However, had an emergency and needed to cancel one night of my 3-night booking and Expedia would not work with me for a cancellation. I will not use the again.

Wonderful Easter weekend visiting with my daughter and attending college tours with my son. Very clean room and hotel. Quiet, lots of parking and close to everything. Front desk staff were excellent! Thank you.

Hotel is in need of upgrades. Bathroom sink was backing up and leaking on the floor. Toilet was loose. Bedding was uncomfortable and felt like plastic, like sleeping in a giant diaper. Attempted to call the front desk multiple times but no answer. There are some newer hotels in Blacksburg that are much better options.

We there for two nights and each morning they ran out of coffee in the lobby coffee pot which took over 15 minutes to be filled. Also, the sower head in our bathroom has too low for even average height person.

Our one-night stay was very pleasant, especially interactions with students working in the hotel. Only issue is my mattress was somewhat uneven but would stay they're again based on the beauty and cleanliness of the facilities and warmth and helpfulness of the staff.

The perfect place for a Hokie or really anyone! Lovely decor, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, great dining in the conference center as well as nearby local area. Would stay here anytime I visit Blacksburg. Highly recommend!!

Overall, the Inn is an excellent place to stay if one is visiting VT for a sporting event or otherwise. The only negative — and it was not a minor one — was that it was ill-equipped to handle a pre-game meal as I had been led to believe. My group arrived early, was seated, etc., etc., but ultimately had to find another dinner venue and was late to the game. Seemingly, this was a problem that can be easily remedied if recognized. The dining/lounge staff appeared overwhelmed when customer demand was clearly well below capacity.

Great location on campus, but that is it. Dated property. No amenities in the room like a minibar or snacks. Staff wasn't very helpful in terms of providing directions to buildings on campus. Location is the only positive of this property.

The Inn is a great place to stay while visiting VA Tech. The staff and service are excellent. Haley at Preston's dining was outstanding! I'm sure it's not the norm but they were having problems with the hot water heater during our stay. I had two very early mornings where there was no hot water. A cold shower in February is not ideal. To be fair the front desk informed us that the hot water heater was being replaced but they said you would have to let your water run to get hot.... it never got hot. : ) Still overall it was a great visit and the Inn is a top location to stay while visiting VA Tech.
