Blakeney is close to many of Gloucestershire’s attractions. Two of the places not to miss are the fabulous Sheringham Park and the remarkable Wells-next-the-Sea Beach. If time permits, be sure to also visit Sheringham Beach and Holkham Hall.
To surround yourself with nature, visit some of the nearby green spaces. These are good spots to relax and unwind. Stare out over the water and go for a long walk at one of the area’s beaches, for example Cromer Beach in Cromer.
Carrow Road, Norwich is the perfect place cheer along with fellow lovers of soccer, and to see local legends, the Norwhich City FC, in all their glory. On game days follow the sea of green and yellow, to the stadium, then after the final whistle blows, join local soccer lovers at a nearby pub, bar or cafe for a post-game drink.
To make the most of Blakeney, think about making a reservation close by in one of the area’s many accommodation options. The Cromer Country Club, the White Horse, Cromer and the Barns at Thorpe Market, Norwich are among the best places to find a warm welcome and a good night’s rest.
