comfy and surrounding area was beautiful... breakfast was basic and the bar menu had very little healthy food to choose from but the smoked salmon I got was delish.

Lovely hotel, staff and foodPosted Jun 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for my birthday and we had a suite, the room itself was gorgeous though the balcony and windows could do with a tidy up and it would have been nice to have chairs and a table to be able to use on balcony. Other than that the food was 1st class, service was great and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Enjoy your stay.

wouldnt recommend or returnPosted Jun 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very poor experience. A few exceptions but overall staff were unfriendly and rude including management. Ate in both the restaurant and bar food was poor. Hotel cleanliness was poor with dead flies on window sills in the restaurant and stains on the sofas and furniture in the bedroom. Even tried to charge food to the room we didnt have, were accusatory when we explained we didnt and when they realised their mistake didnt apologise. Definitely wont return or recommend, Wicklow has much better accommodation to offer elsewhere.

Great views of the golf course and peaceful night in great comfort, we will be back. It had the usual Irish charm and friendliness.

My wife says it was the best hotel we have stayed in. We loved the Irish relaxed atmosphere. The staff were happy to chat, which we enjoyed.

Staff make this hotel. Reception, bar and night porter could not do enough to make my stay comfortable.
