Best hotel and location everPosted Jul 7, 2014
A truly amazing hotel, it is expensive but if you stay here you accept that on basis you get what you pay for. For me there is no doubt, awesome location, staff (especially Andreas) superb and rooms brilliant. Take a boat trip to ballagio if you can.

Wonderful romantic venuePosted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Location was fabulous.
Cons: Restaurant menu choices
Location: Easy drive to Como. Exciting drive to Bellagio. Worthwhile getting getting the hydrofoil from Como to explore. A must was Villa Balbianello.
It was a wonderful, relaxing place to stay. The menu in the restaurant and bar was limited and rather expensive. A car was definitely a good thing to have, especially with the valet parking. Fantastic views over Lake Como.

Excellent, great staff and a wonderful experience.Posted Jun 18, 2014
Cons: Suggest alternative dinner menu, rotating nightly.
Location: 10 minutes away from Como, free shuttle from hotel, a bit isolated however great if looking for peace and quiet.
Excellent, service was fabulous, spa was fabulous, overall excellent hotel and the views are unbelievable.

Absolutely incredible hotel.Posted May 30, 2014
CastaDiva was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Beautiful rooms, grounds, pool, spa and restaurant. Not to mention the great view. Great town in Como, with multiple good restaurants,

Heaven in Blevio, Lake ComoPosted May 25, 2014
We were so amazed by our experience at Casta Diva. The hotel and grounds were stunning. The people working there were so welcoming. We can't wait to go back :)

Beautiful hotel but not child friendly!Posted Apr 28, 2014
This is a great hotel: Our room was more like an apartment than a room and was very nicely put together down to the last detail, with a huge bath, beautiful garden and an amazing view of the lake. The hotel's spa had some of the best facilities I have ever seen which make this hotel perfect for a couple's holiday. However, my wife and I had our 1yr old with us which exposed the hotel's lack of family friendliness. Every morning when we went down to breakfast we had to wait half an hour for them to bring a high chair (despite there being very few guests) and we had to spend 30 euros on lasagna for him to eat as they had no child menu. The hotel was also quite quiet which was nice but it also meant that the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Also, the restaurant menus were not great. Apart from those small gripes, I would definitely reccomend Casta Diva.

DisappointPosted Nov 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel's hardware is great but service is really horrible. I booked the penthouse suite but sent to a normal suite. I argued with them but was told I was upgraded to a better room. But I was there last christmas and I know all the room quite well. They also said the pictures of the room I saw on hotels.com cannot be guarantee unless I notify them specifically. I really not satisfied with all of these. Once again, the hotel is great but the service is horrible. This is difficult to build up a luxury hotel if they follow this.
