“Hard beds”

Good value. Not ready for check in at 1:00pm. At least 3 people waiting to check in. No toliet paper roll holder in the bathroom.

“Normal-Bloomington”

it was "ok". All appliances in the room were unplugged (TV, cable box, refrigerator). The room was cold when we arrived. I never use the little coffee machine but, if I wanted to, I couldn't because several parts were missing, including the glass bowl.

“Baymont Inn East Bloomington”

The bed and the furniture are fine. However, things are starting to look tattered and overly worn including the walls, carpets and fixtures as well as the old analog television set in my room. No structural problems, but the Inn requires some updating including new hall carpets, light fixtures and lamps, new wall paper and paint. I can recommend this hotel over others in this price range, in this area primarily because it's far superior to others in the same range.

“The experience doesn't match the picutres!”

When i checked in - i got a room with a heavy stench of smoke. After going to the front desk, i got another room that was fresh and clean. After a short shopping trip, i had troubles getting into my room with key, after trying multiple times, slowing, quickly ect. i again had to go down to the front desk. The maintenance came up and helped open door and said i was doing wrong, obviously i stay enough hotels that i think i know how to insert a card in the door, he was also quite snippy. Very dis-appointed with staff at the hote. Seemed everytime i went to the front desk it was taken a bother. Won't stay there again.

“The only hotel I've seen with emerald green pool water...”

The pool was radioactive green. I wish I could post the picture I took. The back door of the hotel has a sign that says the door is locked 24 hrs a day. It didn't even have a latch. The coke machine took my money. There weren't even spoons to stir my coffee. The bed was like plywood. But, it was cheap. So, you get what you pay for here..

“Not impressed”

There was a dead racoon in the pool. It supposedly just happened, but I wasn't swimming in that pool. Air conditioner wasn't working, finally got another room that was fine. just not happy with my stay.

“Stay Away”

The hotel was hard to find because it's hid in the mist of the service roads. It was clean overall but very noisey. there is alot to be wanted if you stay here.
